I'm back checking out this method and your tips and since i have been trying this now. Ive picked up some more info watching it again, so big thanks for that. Just one thing I have been trying is using a stem as a boom instead of the styles below the olivette. Theres a cadence video on here explaining how this is done using a carbon stem but i couldn't get one of those so i have been using a DW40 tube glued into an olivetti and it works a treat. Hope this helps any viewers. The slider really is a brilliant way of fishing.Thanks again.

What is the maximum casting distance for waggler fishing?Pls advice from your own long distance angling experience. P. S. I am gonna feeding with spomb, cobra or other carp fishing tackles)). For fish bite- binocular fishing glasses. 20 gramms cralusso rocket float and 17 ft rod with 10-35 grams test.

Hey mate, i am new to slider waggler fishing, so i have 1 question. I got some 6+2 grams waggler and when i put 5grams lead shots, it sinks. Everything on line is put in right order..just the waggler sinks. Should i buy different waggler or what could cause it. At the moment it seems like waggler weight isn't right with what is written on it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance..
@PESCUITSPORTIVcuMike3 жыл бұрын
6+2 means the float have 6 gr, and needs another 2 gr, 5 gr was too much for the float, that's why it sinks. Hope this will help you, all the best mate

Great vid as always, brilliantly presented and very informative. 1'm just getting myself re-associated with this great method Hayden. Where can I get them small stopper beads from mate ? .
@haydenrushworth42637 жыл бұрын
Terry Matthews Cheers for the comment and that's good to hear. The beads are ancient Wychwood ones that if I remember were in the carp section of the local tackle shop (thats probably the best place to look), if not then anywhere that does sewing supplies should have some similar or just ask in the tackle shop, the sewing stuff will be much cheaper though. Hope this helps and thanks for watching

is that a rubber tube inside of the 4.5 g olivette? or? Thank you

silvestro2in1 carbon stem cut down of an old pole float works well ☺️😊

@@loganferguson3695 Hello mate. If I put the carbon stem and the line inside the olivett it will break the line after some casts. If I don't put the line inside the olivett with the stem carbon, I will lose the olivett. How can I do this setting right? Thanks
@loganferguson36955 жыл бұрын
I'm no expert at It i find a drilled bullet is better than an olivette and I secure the carbon stem with silicone never had a problem
@stormaker4u5 жыл бұрын
@@loganferguson3695 thanks for the response. But do you insert the line inside the drilled bullet together with the carbon stem? Is this not causing breaking the line?

Hayden how to do attach the fluorocarbon leader below the Olivetti by way of micro swivels or a blood knot?
@haydenrushworth42637 жыл бұрын
foxley66 Cheers for the comment, I make the leaders up ready to go on winders so there is a swivel above the olivette. To try and clarify it a tad more, below the float swivel is a small bead to buffer the float onto the knot and the micro swivel at the top of the leader, the olivette is placed on the leader and the micro swivel pulls into the rubber insert in the top of the olivette and then the boom of styles is added beneath it to lock it all together, a few no 9s for the dropper above the micro swivel at the bottom for the hooklength to be added to and that completes the rig.

Cheers Hayden I thought that's how you did it, a great idea will give it a go thanks again Cheers Steve Amison

he sinks the line like so aggressive
@13Tody7 жыл бұрын
If there's no wind at all you need a few rod tip twitches to sink the line. He's doing a great job anyway.

Although I found this informative, there was not enough information on the business end i.e show the viewers how the float lands from the cast, how it settles, and how it reacts when you are trying to set it. also too much in advertising time lost when you could be educating the angler.
@haydenrushworth42637 жыл бұрын
graham bowen Cheers for watching and taking the time to comment, we try to get the best balance possible when switching between camera angles and in this video we would like to think that the footage of the float settling on the cast and setting itself is comprehensive enough, likewise with the explanation. With regards to your final comment I unfortunately can not see what you mean when you talk about advertising time and not educating the angler, as I mentioned we like to think this is a fully educational video and we spend a lot of time considering the content to make sure things are explained as comprehensively and clearly as possible. Cheers
