Brilliant Matt, not been up to Damflask for years, but have some great memories. Slider is a fantastic method that is often overlooked as being too complicated, when in fact if you follow a few simple rules,, it can be so rewarding. Cheers fella !

These type of videos really put Guru ahead of the competition. Was out fishing my local lough in Ireland which is 35 feet deep catching bream yesterday. This video has definitely improved my slider Fishing and of course I’m using Guru tackle because of it.. Keep up the good work team Guru. Thanks from Ireland☘️

This is my favourite method for roach, skimmers and silver bream in a bay 5 minutes from home. It's about 6m deep at 30-40m. The water itself is over 280,000 acres (Malären, Sweden).

Bro great tip but I wanna ask u about that stop knot, was it going through ur fishing rod eye while u cast. Since u r fishing 17 feet deep water. So I think it must be in side rapped in u reel and as u cast this spot knot goes through ur rod guide. Is it? Doesn't it damage ur rod guide. Bro plz respond this technique is very much new to me here in India.

Sorry Mat why was the Olivette upside down?
@sauy73 жыл бұрын
The thicker end helps to kick out the float at a greater angle to the main line. Imagine the float and line from the olivette hanging down from the rod tip. With the olivette "upside down" the float might be pointing at 4 o'clock and the line off the olivette at 8 o'clock. Put the olivette on "thick end down" and the float will hang closer to 5 o'clock and the line at 7 o'clock, so the angle is much smaller and easier to tangle.
