Clips from this year's Last Chance Broadhead Shoot.
This event is hosted annually by West Coast Archery Shop in Petaluma California. It's a very fun event and a great opportunity to see how your bowhunting setups perform.
The main course consists of 35 targets at varying distances and angles. Everyone gets 1 shot per target. Arrows must have a broadhead on it that meets California's hunting regulations of a minimum cutting diameter of 7/8". Practice mechanical broadheads are also allowed.
After the main course, there was an iron pig shoot with a $5 buy in. Winner takes all. Everyone starts at 20 yards with 1 arrow. You shoot your arrow into the orange target within the iron pig. If you make the shot, you move onto the next round. Each round is +10 yards. We keep shooting until only one person remains.
