@ absolutely, with the market being strong naturally rises will occur across the board, but also due to the point I made, as we move away from SWSH all BBs will rise, that includes those bad sets too! Same happened with S&M!

I regret not buying Evolving Skies BBs when they were $250-$275 thinking it was too expensive. Missed a 4x in just 18 months. Heck even this year alone missed a 2x on them.

I remember looking at an Evs BB at 650€ a couple months ago and Michael saying it would never be cheaper... Put my money to work elsewhere but in about 2 months it's already 100+ up :(

Me too buddy! but we got to stick to our budgets, So many new sets you have to pick up and choice what to buy. For me I couldn't spend that and not on something I could rip with my kids. ;)

Its crazy i bought a silver tempest box from the PC and a day later they finally sold out. Now that 143 dollar box is over 200! The rip and ship culture is seriously putting upward pressure on all sealed product. Its kinda not healthy but well see what happens.

I have lately found out the prices on shiny or tcgplayer or card market are different, and it can be a big difference. Card Market is what we use in Europe and tcgplayer is what is used in USA. What are your thoughts about invest, when the markets are so different. Is some plays not worth it in Europe, like they are in USA?

Buying anything Pokemon for long term investment (10-20+ years) is still viable... even with sets like Evolving or Fusion Strike. No matter what you should make money. A lot of people arent in this investment just to sell after one year or two.

Merry Christmas!! When it comes down to ETB and investing, is Pokemon Center ETB worth it over regular ETB? I feel regular ETB will be opened more whereas PC will be mostly kept sealed. Maybe you can explain? I've been collecting Pokémon and Mtg for 6 years, thinking it was an investment now when it's time to cash out. Nobody wants to buy anything, even with 100% feedback listing at 20% below market value. How is this an investment? Don't I have to sell it along with 50k other investors. After shipping/fee's/price drops to compete and nobody buying unless it's BRAND NEW, where's the 💰 in this? Complicated question 😕

Where are you trying to sell? I've always auctioned everything I sell from 0.99c worth no reserve and let the market tell me the price.

I don't think he's saying you have to park your money 100% in SW&SH but more so; if you're contemplating investing some of your money in that era, now is your last chance or it won't be such a beneficial investment. The prices are going to go up up up in the next few months. That being said I agree to focus on early SV sets and SV era in general. That's where the market and future sit with the most potential for gains. Agree with that 100%.
