Last commute on the Repsol? DRIFT GHOST

A little farewell commute on the Repsol CBR1000RR. She's been great but think im moving on - although im all in a muddle! Bloody motorbikes.

S1000RR is your next bike Baron. Ive been lucky to have most of the game-changer bikes - original Blade, 1st R1, crossplane crank R1 and the S1000RR moved game-changing to another level. Uber dependable and easy to trickle around on but just abso-boggling nutty beyond words if you want too. I genuinely thought I was going to be ripped off the back when I first nailed it - truly shocking. Mines the 2011 and I cant begin to think what an HP4 would be like !! Great vids - keep up the good work!

I must say I like the Fireblade, they're a friendly soul to ride, astonishingly surefooted. And I like the lockable pillion compartment. But what can you keep in it that will fit? Well, if you need to give a girl a lift to Victoria Station, she can wear your helmet while you go in your F/blade locker and unfold an oven-ready Sikh turban and black beard -- oh! you've already got one --- and voila! (in my one brain cell) everybody's legal! Best Respects.

Great video! I just recently discovered your videos and I've been enjoying them a lot ever since. I have also a motorcycle of my own. I must, however, disagree a bit on your comment: "sports bikes are the best bikes on commute on". If you're commuting for short distances or within city centers, sports bikes are definitely great. With long distances, or long distances at high speeds, or with baggage, I find a tourer to be more comfortable. I've never had too many problems getting through traffic.

Cracking video Baron. Love those 'bikers world only' moments where everyone chats to everyone like at the lights. Have to disagree with your comment about sportsbikes being the best to commute on. Having ridden sportsbikes and owing a Speed Triple and commuted heavy traffic in both I would say a streetfighter or 'sit up' style is better. Just my 2 cents :) Safe riding

You're so right about sportsbikes being great computer tools,only thing is some white van driver decided to play equipment my R1 in the back of his van without asking me. Over been temperature into an 08 blade but as long don't computer into lincoln's Inn fields anymore lm after an 08 R6 for track and play. How many bikes you have then cos seems like you have some tasty collection. Ride safe

top job. just treated myself to an 09 hrc blade a few months back and found that if you fit a power commander it encourages even more naughty riding.the yoshi cans sound sweet as I had one but now have the leo vince gp pro....ear bleedingly loud :s

Actually, another bike that's worth considering (and one that completely slipped my mind) is the ZX10R. Not sure if it's your kind of ride though, but worth checking out at least.
