I'm from Pensacola and live in Austin now. Pensacola has beautiful beaches but is pretty low key. Austin is great and we've had the best weather lately!

As someone who has lived in NC my whole life Wilmington is literally a different place in the Summer, but it is a bit overrated imo. However, there are some actual beachside towns in the outer banks that are super walkable and not touristy!

I know I feel like my feelings about places are soooo dependent on the weather bc I literally have seasonal depression lol like even san diego in the winter is depressing to me but I love it there in the summer so I guess I gotta go back to NC in the summer hehe
