I’ve been getting a good amount of steel bars from recycling turret parts. Kind of expensive to kill turrets with guns but the raiders task it from time to time. Just thought I’d share. Love your videos keep up the great work!!!

That's something I've been wondering about recently. There's so many ways to go about getting certain resources in this game. I found all the options a bit overwhelming for aluminum in particular, so I excluded some alternatives there as well.🤔

Yeah not a lot of people understand the recycler. I didn’t until recently I’d just collect everything and not use it lol. Anywhos there’s a video online here on KZbin it’s about 4 minutes long it goes through the best items to recycle and i just watched it I learned a lot i think this game really needs a better survival guide or at least a walkthrough online here

one of the best way to obtain steel, I Agree PLUS Recycling Turret Parts and Heat Sensors can give you Steel bars right away (15% chance at Max lvl) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A lot of players dont know how to mine Copper ore, They fight every zombie and they are breaking a lot of guns for few Copper ores. This strategy by mining only at the border of the location with not taking fights is BEST way.

best way is pretty much the farm, so early-mid game players, try to use as much melee as possible in bunker A, and extra guns use it in the farm, before steel gets crucial

I had to mine a ton of copper but it’s not too hard to mine in mass just pick the berries and make warming kits to stay warm and collect the outside i was getting about 25 copper ore per zone run so run back and fourth a dozen times come back with a dozen copper ore and tons of berries and aluminum to make more kits Edit The best way to get tons of aluminum ore in my opinion is by trying to farm copper. Every time you go back to the yellow zone all the aluminum ore resets and there’s dozens of these in the yellow cold zone but maybe only 6-13 copper ore in general in the red zone . These are the nodes. 6-13 nodes. I use a lot of med kits and heals yeah but I leave the zone with a stack of copper when smelted in return . Worth it for me. Im sure it can be done more efficiently though.

My favorite way to get bauxite is by doing chopper events. It's so much better than wasting time mining for it in red zones

Edit: I apologize. I realize that I wasn't factoring in having 20% faster crafting from VIP, but that probably only translate into a couple more planks being burned as fuel for the same results. I understand that it's efficient to use 8 charcoal to turn the 10 planks into 20... but I found that 10 planks can be used instead, thus saving all my charcoal for smelting. Only reason why I mention this is because I find that when I'm running two smelters and an advance on a constant basis, I run out of charcoal very quickly if I'm also using it to fuel the campfires to produce more. By using planks to turn other planks into charcoal, all of the charcoal goes into smelting even though that just means having to use more logs for planks... which really isn't an issue.

Your way spends way more wood than if you just used a part of the charcoal you get to smelt planks (like everyone). And it is a problem if you are a more advanced player and don't want to go to the yellow pine zone every day

I need so many steel plates for racks . I finally got the 5 together to upgrade to chest and I was like “wow this doubles inventory slots” then I look at the next upgrade and it is 15 steel plates each I was like :O lol it’s okay though because I’m almost max level on my recycler I just have to get tactical backpack and get collecting all the recycles i see Edit Quick math here says that you need 5 steel plates each to upgrade to chest and 15 plates to get to racks. This means you need roughly 800 steel or 200 steel bars and 600 plates to max all 40 chests to racks. Thats a grind and a half.

For ez way to get copper is not mining it (this is my idea ok dont ahte me ) go to bunker alpha but first u should get the finger thing then go left on the green crate when u put the finger thing door will open and u get copper bar always

I hope you're not using your iron pickaxes on those iron/bauxite ores cause they only require a simple pickaxe. Also, bauxite takes twice the time to melt into aluminium bars compared to the aluminium wire.

Dang it! Hard to get copper in the winter zone. You just get 3 of its ore when you leave because the zombies are protecting some of it. I don't have a lot of guns to kill zombies easily. Another thing is when some AI (with VSS? Gun) visit too and aggro some zombies then leave and make me the one they're chasing. Dang it! And it is hard to achieve max level of electronics something in recycler.

Yup! It can be quite the grind. From what you mentioned I'd recommend that you just focus on Bunker Alfa for now. Learn to wall trick, save up the guns, and build up stockpiles of aluminum and items with high copper recycle payouts. Gradually level up your electronics level in your recycler with stuff like light bulbs and flashlights, then start recycling those copper items once your electronics is around the mid 20's. Hope this helps! :)

Well, if you clear bungker Alfa and crooked farm... You can get ore... This one is more efficient... Like, you doing a Raid + Farming stuff like copper ore...not gonna lie, but copper ore almost close to trash actually if you can get copper bars easily... It take to much Charcoal

Well. I got around 120 copper ores total with one fur set. Never fight frozen fat zombies or aboms to save your armor. Fight dumb zombies and spitters only ıf neccesarry the you are good. Play super sneaky and super safe
