Hey, I saw in another video that the far west container can be opened before luring any of the zombies. You just enter, don't alert the existing zombies and go open that container. It works. It's a close call but it works.

To safely get the crates you must activate all waves of every crates first (there at least 10 waves) and then round them together to a barrel and after that, hit the barrel to explode (3 times) and no zombie will appear, i tried it and it works perfectly it consumes less durability to the weapon and armor as well as the food.
