The Sacramento Kings moved out of Sleep Train Arena over 5 years ago now, and the arena's demise is imminent.
As of this upload, the arena is now gone.
Arco Arena was the host of many legendary sports moments, such as Lebron James' NBA debut and epic clashes between the Kings and visiting Los Angeles Lakers.
Had to check the grounds of the arena out before it was all gone.

This makes me want to cry,I was a season ticket holder for 14 years,so many memories and several concerts. I was at that game when the owner climbed up over us. The LeBron James first game was a zoo so many cameras in his face unbelievable.

I total agree Dylan. It was hard to see Candlestick Park go away and the Warriors move has well. I do like the old arena's and stadiums. Did they finally demolished yet? Great part 2 video !

Brings back lots of memories. I was there for the first event at the then New Arco Arena. It was a world championship fight between home town hero Tony "The Tiger" Lopez and Rocky Lockridge. The crowd was deafening, roaring with every punch Tony threw. He won. I still remember walking out and looking over at the pillars at the soon to be ball park that was going to be next door. Oh well.

I do miss the name Arco arena. They were the first place to have a company buy naming rights. Wrigley and Heinz field didn’t count because they were either owned by the family or the stadium was owned.

I grew up going to Kings games here. I also saw the WNBA Monarchs play here, and they actually had a championship. I saw plenty of concerts across various genres. It wasn’t the best venue. It was small, comparatively, and always felt crowded. Thirty years later, even with all the memories, I don’t feel anything for this place. I do like roaming around Sacramento’s old buildings and haunts though. The ol buildings that became the science museum were a blast to explore. The old train yard was amazing. Everything is getting demolished and built new. It’s time.

Im not a Kings fan, even during the amazing run they had in the early 2000s i still stuck with the Warriors when they sucked, Arco Arena will always hold a special place for me because of all the WWF events i went to there. I still have the program from the RAW after SummerSlam 2001.

It will always be Arco Arena to me. Or rather Aco Aena. There was something strange about the R's. Whenever the wind would blow really hard, the R's would fall off.

You also have to remember brother there was a lot of other events other than the kings games. A lot of concerts. I remember when I was a little kid all of the monster jams (monster truck rally’s) also used to be there. A lot of history there tho. Amen for the video tho my brother
