When the MTA is finally audited, we are going to learn some terrible truths about where our hard-earned money has been going. To anyone who runs a business or has run a business, I think it's quite fair to say that it's apparent that there are leaks in the money trail and that's why MTA loses so much money. It is very difficult to account for the quantities of money the MTA has to account for PLUS at the speed they have to do it. Remember, they make millions every few hours. So, of course, it is very hard to keep track of millions upon millions coming in every hour but just because they have not been able to manage it effectively does not mean that taxpayers have to pay for their buffoonery. We will get those cameras down, don't you worry your little hearts.

The reporter said '15 billion in revenue' but it is 1 Billion in toll revenue that will then be used to buy bonds worth that 15 Billion. If you think the interest tab on our national debt is high (and it is), wait until all this bonding gets done. Eventually all those bonds come due in one form or another, so how much out of that initial 15 B will actually go to capital improvements? BTW, as I understand it, all the congestion money (bonds) can only be used for capital improvements, not operating expenses.

Let me explain why the people who oppose congestion pricing will fail.This was already passed years ago and all they needed was the proof that the subway had no way to be profitable. So the MTA collected fare evasion statistics, videos of losers hoping the train and sprinkle in cops who stand by watching subway crime and now you have given the MTA all they need to get congestion pricing in ALL BOROUGHS COMING SOON, speed cameras on highways, license plate readers on buses to issue tickets, increase in parking fines and more. You can thank door pushers, migrants, EDP, homeless, losers and etc for making this possible.

You have a projected ridership of 4.6 million riders DAILY. Raise the fares by 25 cents. Do the math. Let the RIDERS invest in their own system. And then you only project a 17% decrease in drivers. So, A.) What impact is that really going to make and, more importantly, B.) Where are you putting the occupants of those 150,000+ vehicles?? I have read NOTHING about how you plan to accommodate the increased ridership, let alone increase everyone's safety.
