Out-of-state plates on the Upper West Side

People who live on the Upper West Side say they've seen more cars with out-of-state plates looking for parking in spots in their neighborhood. It's likely to happen more frequently even when congestion pricing goes into effect. FOX 5 NY's Arthur Chi'en takes a closer look at the issue.

In NJ I've seen areas that requiere overnight permit for out of state plates including NY vehicles, NY should do the same.

People complain at everything its Mind blowing! Cars pay taxes and MV fees to be ON THE ROAD. If they are legally parked the case is closed. Some people expect others to put their cars in their back pocket or purse when they get where they need to be. It's not like these cars stay there overnight. I love congestion pricing but we need to be towing these cars with out of state plates-- WE WANT TO TURN PARKING SPOTS TO BE TURNED INTO PARKS AND BIKE LANES FOR OUR CITIZENS. LESS CARS ON THE UPPER WEST SIDE!
