Hi Angela, As a medical professional I have to say that your 'diet' is very well balanced. No wonder you have such beautiful and glowing skin and healthy long hair. I always try to encourage my patients to eat healthy. The truth is that nothing can replace a healthy lifestyle. Just like the previous comments I would love to see some workouts if you have time. You are a beautiful person inside and out. Thank you for these French series. They are a real treat.

Grated cheeses often have anti caking agents, or fibrous fillers. No good for anyone with auto immune diseases, gut issues etc. As Angela advises, stick with the whole block and grate your own. Ends up being cheaper too. Thanks, Angela, for your fab series. I do look forward to your next chapter. Having a coffee in your honour now. 😉

Hi Kate :) Thank you so much for watching my videos and for all the support! I saw your comment on my Instagram account re the new N 1 de Chanel enhancer and I wanted to reply because I will have my video later next week (the week of July 17th. So here is a short review: It will be best on dry and normal to dry skin. It's not great on oily skin and it emphasizes dilated pores. I would use it on the high points of the face on top of foundation so that it can work as a subtle highlighter. Overall this is not my favorite Chanel product. I think it was developed for dry skin that lacks luminosity. And it looks best used alone instead of foundation. I have combo skin and it doesn't do much for me. If you want try it as a highlighter to see if you like it. I don't use foundation. I just put it on the high points of my cheeks and on my nose. That's it. It works but I'm not in love with it. I hope this helps with your decision. xoxo

@@Frenchforaday Thank you so much for your very detailed response. Your opinion seems to align with mine. Sadly, Chanel did not offer much help with how to use the skin enhancer, nor clarify who it works best for. It isn't a product I feel confident suggesting others buy. I look forward to your video, Angela. Your honesty and integrity means a lot. May your week be kind to you. X

Good morning Angela - from the Central Oregon Coast. I absolutely love this French for a Day video!! My partner is genuinely 100% Italian with both parents immigrating to the US. He is 59 years old, extremely physically fit and health conscious. I am 46, also physically fit and very health conscious. My family is almost 100% Swedish and as you know, Sweden is not particularly known for flavorful dishes, the foods I learned to cook growing up are far more bland in comparison. So we almost always cook in his style that I just love!! It's usually a combination of Coastal (fish,) and Italian and fresh foods. We almost never open boxes or cans for food and very rarely eat out at a restaurant. We have a cookbook of handed-down Italian recipes from his family and the recipes are amazing! Wonderful Pesto, Stuffed Artichokes, Eggplant, Tomato Salad....a combination of Sicilian (his father) and Neapolitan (his mother) influenced recipes! We have so much fun cooking and it is a wonderful experience. I just love your jam recipe for the French Toast, Spaghetti Sauce, and Bruschetta topping!! I am definitely going to make these!! Thank you! Have a beautiful day! ❤❤❤

I too have ibs and found fodmaps incredibly helpful in managing the pain. Drinking bone broth at night as my last meal helps too. Often I will still have pain, but when I do it’s usually because one of three things. 1) stress. Too much exercise, life or work. 2) eating too much at once. 3) too much sugar. (Typically this will be fast food ice cream, fast food coffee exc. usually I don’t have this problem when eating at home.) Each person is highly individualized in what their body will let them eat, so I highly recommend doing the fodmap diet to find out what causes the problem. Basically it’s a diet where you eliminate and reintroduce certain foods. Good luck!

I adore this! Being European myself, we always cook our meals from scratch. "If you don't use your hands, it's not going to taste good" :) Love! It shows that you cook with love. Not many people understand that the intent and the care with which you prepare the food actually translates into the taste. If I may make one suggestion - since I noticed that you eat very clean and organic. You should not use the prepackaged tea bags bought from the store! Much like the "paper cups", the bags contain micro and nano plastics that get released when hot, and absorbed by the body. Also, the tea itself has lost all its nutritional and antioxidant benefits the way it is processed. There are several companies where you can buy organic loose leaf teas and use a glass or stainless steel insert to steep the tea :) Blessings ... xoxoxoxo

I eat very similarly - whatever I want, in moderation. I also love to cook and do just about everything from scratch. I think you would be astonished at the size of servings here in the US - in my opinion this is the main reason for all the obesity. Hello and thank you so much for watching my video :) I've heard that fresh fruits and vegetables are very expensive in Norway. That's such a pity. In Italy fruits and vegetables are very affordable especially spring, summer and fall. There are markets (a day of the week) when farmers drive to the big cities and sell their organic fruits and vegetables at very affordable prices. I'm thinking it would have been great if Norway would import fruits and vegetables from the EU.
@Pearlylove

@@Frenchforaday That sounds so nice with markets with organic fruits and vegetables to affordable prices. We do import from the EU, but the prices are still high. A lot from Holland, but also Italy and Spain, a lot of fruits, like apples. We don’t have much price competition here, so that also keep the prices high. I buy fruits and vegetables every week, just have to hold back a little, but rather fruits than croissants.😉

I love French toast with a tiny sprinkle of vanilla sugar and a drizzle of honey with berries! However, I also love it with creamed spinach and Greek yoghurt or a Greek salad with avocado. It’s a wonderful food for a base for both savoury and sweet toppings 😀

Ty Angela for sharing what you eat in a day. I had a fabulous time watching your wonderful, tasty, and beautiful recipes, especially the French toast. I truly love the dinnerware black and white plates you used they are darling. Can you tell me the brand name of these dishes I’d love to get a set for myself. :) Thank you, Dulce

This is truly inspiring and I appreciate that you shared what you eat in a day. I always have a cup of coffee ☕️ in the morning and I love whole grain bread 🍞 🥖. I do try to cook as much as possible when I eat at home. I guess compare to you, I like a lot of sweets and I do love 🍕 pizza, but I eat less than I used to. I do what I can under the circumstances. Thank you, thank you for sharing once again, Angela! I would be looking forward to your fall come back of this series. I hope Angela and all of you have a great weekend! 💝🤩😄❤️💕👍🏻💐

I think the one thing I miss the most from my childhood is fresh pasta. My great grandmother would make fresh pasta every Sunday for family lunch/dinner. Unfortunately I live in a food desert in the U.S. we have no bakeries near us. I make my own bread in the morning but simply don’t have the time or even the space to make the noodles. I lament the loss 😢

Hi Angela! I just love watching your videos and look forward to them every week. Thank you for sharing your life with us. I especially enjoyed watching today's video about what you eat in a day. Like you, I do not believe in diets and want to eat what taste delicious to me but in moderation. This video was very inspiring, because I can get very lazy with my cooking. I love eating blackberries with raspberries, so it put a smile on my face when you had them for one of your deserts! I am also a chocolate lover. Again, thank you so much for being such a beautiful, inspiring woman of many talents. Take care and God Bless You!

Bonjour! I must admit: German bread is the best! So many varieties! Excellent flavour. The worst bread I've ever eaten was the one in the UK. Best regards!

You obviously didn’t buy the right bread in the U.K. True, there aren’t so many great varieties again Germany, but you can get good bread if you know where to look. No problem In London of course, but if you’re somewhere up in Scotland or North Wales, you could be in trouble.

I thought it was funny when you said porridge doesn't make you happy 😄 I have exactly the same feeling 😊although I keep trying to find a way to eat oats that I enjoy (because I feel good after eating them...). Anyway, perhaps it's a cultural thing but two slices of fresh (or even stale toasted) bread for breakfast are unbeatable in terms of flavour and satisfaction.
