Hi Danny, you have helped me so many times with tips and recipes, it's time for me to return the favour. You should not dissolve the creatine in hot drinks. While hot drinks dissolve creatine very efficiently it also accelerates the degradation of creatine into creatinine, an inactive by-product. This process, known as thermal degradation, means that the longer creatine is exposed to heat, the more it degrades. So by adding it to your hot coffee and drinking it slowly you are basically not taking creatine. Cheers!

@@LordOfTheDrinks01 Oh this is so sad! LOL - I'll have to add it to my water instead. Thanks for the tip.
@LordOfTheDrinks017 ай бұрын
@@CleanandDeliciousDani I usually mix it with the yogurt that I use with my stove top granola (from your recipe). The granola is so rich in flavours and textures that the creatine is totally undetectable.

Hi Dani, this is my first time seeing your video, and I'm impressed! I just ordered the LMNT and got my freebies...thanks for that. I'm about to turn 68 and am diabetic and overweight. I'm planning to retire in two years and want to get healthy to enjoy my retirement. I'm raising my 20-yr-old grandson, who's also overweight. His mom passed away 3 years ago, so I'm his guardian. I'm gonna make more of an effort to exercise regularly, and make more healthier meals for us. I will be watching more of your videos to learn how to make healthier meals and snacks for us. Can I ask, what do you think helped the most in your transition from fibro and ibs? My doctors told me over 15 years ago no higher than 1% milk. The last 2 years I've stayed away from cow milk other than the occasional goat milk. Usually oat, almond or coconut. Removed many go to's that were highly processed, cancer causing ingredients along with corn starches/syrup additives. I'm still not figuring it out 🙈 Only thing that has helped.. is Mexico. After much research it's the tropical air along with high elevation.

I'm 49. Doing intermittent fasting, high protein, low carb, whole foods, no ultra processed food, no refined sugars etc. I've chosen this lifestyle in order to lose 120lbs that crept on over 23 years of rheumatoid arthritis and accumulated joint damage. I'm eating between 140 and 180g of protein a day. I'm also doing some strength training, or at least as much as my joints can handle. I walk with crutches, so a lot of stuff I'd like to do is out, but I've been making progress. I've dropped about 36lb in 4 months and have found it relatively easy. One of my favourite meals is to cook up 170g of lean beef mince (5% fat) with some spices, mix it with 50g of kefir and wrap it in a plain 2 egg omelette. I might throw a bit of mozzarella in there too. I'll serve it with an avocado and leafy green salad with a drizzle of apple cider vinegar. If I have that for dinner around 6 or 7pm, I'm not even vaguely hungry until around 1pm or 2pm the next day.

Hi Dani! What kind of turkey do you use? Also, I’ve always been confused about electrolytes because of the sodium. Can you explain that? Thank you, and have a great weekend!
@CleanandDeliciousDani7 ай бұрын
Sodium gets a bad rap because of concerns about heart health and blood pressure. The government recommends consuming less than 2.3 grams of sodium daily, ostensibly for heart health. However, other studies found that 5 grams daily was the sweet spot for heart health. That said, most of the salt (over 70%) Americans consume comes from processed foods, which are also loaded with trans fats, sugars, and artificial ingredients. If you eat a diet high in processed food, consider your sodium intake is likely too high. But if you’re eating a whole-food diet, you probably need to add salt to your meals. Otherwise, you risk electrolyte imbalances and their unpleasant side effects. I always recommend you do your own research and make choices that feel best for you! XO

Hi Dani. Wondering if you could give me some advice. I'm an 81 year vegetarian and I know that I am low on the protein. I do eat some quorn products and baked beans and pulses. I'd be very grateful for any tips. Thank you x

Wow! So good to still see you on the tube. Due to the KZbin algorithms I lost track of you and just now came across this video.

Wow, I’m 48 and my son is 30! So Dani, I know we all have different lifestyles. I’m trying to increase my protein and I work an 8-5 job where I sit at a PC all day, but go directly to the park afterwards and walk until I finally hit 5,000 steps which takes about an hour. I’d love any suggestions on food to take on the go to the office. And I’m super excited to try that salty cafe mocha at work! Thanks for your videos ❤️
