Last Epoch new patch 1.1 - Cold Crit Bladedancer 1500 corruption

This is my proper setup. Legacy showcase.
Now I have adjusted the build, needed dodge back and some more critical strike chance.
Showcase of some boss fights around 1400 corruption.
some mono runs around 1500 corruption.
Boss fight specially Heorot is hard. But its harbinger I think its easy.
Emperor of corpses is "easier" but its harbinger seemed pretty hard to me.
With this new setup I changed my mind, I think we dont need to go back to ~1200 corruption. Around 1400-1500 is fine and we can safe farm monos.

Some of the concepts:
Weapon - I tested obsidian dagger for +4% crit chance but it wasnt needed afterall. Unique Drought's Release with t7% crit multiplier still delivers more damage (in my tests...) even with half of the critical chance.
Ward - as said in previous video, heavily nerfed, I went from 11k to 5,5k ward. But still a solid option for this build.
Dusk shroud chance - nerfed too. Now we get much less dusk shrouds, we cant cap glancing blow chance while doing throwing attacks but we get 60 to 80%. Adjusted passives to have 31% default chance.
I tried to convert all dodge to glancing blow, but changed my mind. Even though dodge is not a consistent defensive layer it helps a lot against 1-shots and to farm monos against multiple enemies.
I traded armor blessing to %inc dodge rating, got some dodge affixes and I think the sweet spot is around 40% ( i have 45% default). When doing throwing hits and gaining dusk shroud it goes up to 60~70%
Passives: Went back to marksman concentration. Help dodge, more damage, more mov speed, and now also defensive with -10% hit damage taken.

have you tested whether %cold dmg increases the actual dmg output? Because the DPS value on Acid Flask does not increase. It still reacts to fire dmg even though the skill has the phys/cold tags. In any case, something is buggy here, the question is it the display or is it the dmg type itself

@@LarsPaschold maybe it's just visual bug, but once you convert it to ice (with vial of volatile off hand) or to fire (with skills nodes), all that matters is the respective damage type. So if converted to fire all my flat throwing damage will scale with increased fire damage. Of course if you add flat cold throwing damage (there is a glove with that) you can scale this flat with increased cold damage but it's exception and don't synergize well when min/max.

Can you provide a good loot filter for this build for The Rings and things we should grab for shatter? For a fresher who has just started farming monoliths lvl 100 With exalted tier 6 -4 throwing attack mana cost only currently (T_T)! I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance! I love the build. Just a quick question, why don't we use the shinchonized Strike and some points in it to make shadows and launch more traps -> more instantenious damage in burst phases ?

hey man, thanks for the words and enthusiasm. unfortunately Im not good at guides, and I dont have specific loot filters for any build. But there is plenty of streamers that can help you more in this stage of the game. frozensentinel youtube.com/@frozensentinel?si=tZFf7V1plMQn0YFG and Binashole youtube.com/@binaqc?si=Q6j3HEkD_JCsdtx9 have good filters and explanations on how to easily configure one for the things you want. You can also always check last epoch tools and maxroll for filters. Many of us min/max builds dont use specific filters, we just create a general one to show pottential good drops for more than 1 build. for rings basically create a new rule to recolor type: ring, subtype select all, affix select only throwing mana cost , with at least "1" of these affixes, advanced options, tier of indivudual affixes must be "6" or "7", up to you. Put this rule in the top of your filter.

Hey, i'm curious why dont you use julra ring or ring of the third eye, since your build is crit based. Also, the boots give you nice freeze multi since you're always low life, but it doest scale anything with it, right?

@@luccabertoldi7171 those julra rings are more for spell builds. They can be great for mages. Maybe could be useful to triple my throwing affix damage but only for a short time. They hardly come with 2LP and there are better options with more useful stats (HP, cold resistance and others). The boots are core to the low life build, without it our ward will be too low

Hi there ! Sorry if it is stupid question (im very new to this game) but if this build doesn't use special bladedancer skill, does it matter which spec-class i will pick for Rogue ?

You can play with any rogue class, although for marksman I think it will be tricky to built around it. There are some things in each passive mastery tree that will make things a bit different for each class. With Bladedancer we have more access to crit multiplier and the reduced damage taken in low life With falconer with have more defenses, can get more glancing blow chance. I'm doing another version of acid flask, now using fire damage and shield, with falconer.

Hi, 1.1.2 patch fixed a bug that didn't apply additional +3 mana cost of Trapas Node, will this build still work?

Yeah works like a charm. This bug description is really strange, to tell the truth I didn't notice anything. The nodes that increase mana cost in explosive trap are "clustered explosive" that can increase mana cost +8 or +16 and "automated bombardment" that increase +11 mana cost. And all they were taken and we can still spam the skill and manage mana. There is nothing about +3 mana cost.

Is it hard to play with T6 -4 throwing mana cost rings? too sadly T7 rings are too expensive for me :(

@@kimdaivd3228 if playing CoF you will drop them with prophecies. unfortunately it will be hard without T7, but it all depends how far do you wanna push. With T6 you will attack less , will have to wait mana recover sometimes, and depending of the corruption you will take longer to kill mobs and bosses and can be deadly. You can also have some other strategies to mitigate the mana loss, maybe the experimental affix to gain mana on potion use, maybe lot of mana Regen (but this take space of prefixes in gear and you will take space of a damage affix everytime you put a mana Regen prefix in gear).

Haven't killed all the harbingers yet, so I can't test. But pretty sure it's easy. We are doing over 1500 corruption, we can kill anything. Aberroth is the hardest boss in game but in fact the hardest content in game is scalling corruption. Bosses over 1.000 corruption become the hardest content ( Orobyss, emperor of corpses and heorot and the new harbingers)

To tell the truth I always forget to put it in action bar. But it should be the optimized way to play. Another thing is that against bosses we are pressing so many buttons already and decoy is another different one, and its cooldown being so long it wont be that much help, but better than nothing.

@@briantenison6 the build has a great sinergy with cold resistance. It increases ward retention (more defense) ,I'm using shackles gloves, and increase cold penetration (more damage) (acid flask node that increase poison penetration per poison resistance, when you convert to cold it is also converted, although it does not show in the tooltip)

Hey essentially you will need the unique vial of volatile ice to convert acid flask to cold damage . And the build is also mana hungry, without 2 rings with exalted tier 7 -5 throwing attack mana cost you will always be out of mana in a phew attacks. Also if going low life (ward) you will need exsanguinous body armor and boot last steps of the living and gloves frostbite shackles and lot of cold resistance, so it's a build that requires lot of investment. Until you can farm these, you can play any generic throwing skills, umbral blade works well. I just showcase endgame builds, and I don't do guides, but you can find plenty of Farming & leveling guides in Maxroll or last epoch tools

@@eliel77 wow. i played acid flask last season. it looked strong mechnical speaking so when they buffed it this season, i knew someone would make a build with it. 1500 corruption. very nice.

@@dodang_9147 This exactly build was already super strong last patch 1.0. It only needed flat throwing damage as much as possible and crit multiplier and cold resistance that gave us ward and also tons of cold penetration. Damage was not so a problem, and as it's defenses were nerfed 1.1 I think it was stronger before. The changes in acid flask this patch doesn't mean very much to this exactly build.
