I think i have the same sentiment about the game. It doesn't do anything wrong and rationally thinking about it, it's great. But somehow it's missing character / worldbuilding and i don't want to word it so harsh, but it feels a bit generic. I also rather prefer DLC like Grim Dawn has instead of MTX. It gives you a more clear boundary of paying and knowing that you get a complete game. With MTX shops i feel like theres always an incentive for the developer to keep dangling a new shiny something in front of you to buy. But great review either way :) I'm also not reaaally a ARPG person i think. The gameplay loop is often only 3 seconds long and you repeat that the whole time. But sometimes it's nice to turn your brain off

"If you had a bug in a game in 2003 you were fucked" The difference was, they actually FINISHED games in 2003 and tested them WAY more and actually fucking TRIED. The crutch of being able to patch things has caused modern devs to be lazy and release unfinished games. It's not an excuse. Notice how there weren't really any "Game-breaking bugs" in older, good games. There'd be a random one from time to time like BxR In Halo 2, but those weren't game-breaking. The games that people loved from back then wouldn't have more than a few minor exploits that just became part of the meta. (wave-dashing in Smash Bros Melee, etc)
