i thought mana regen is what keeps this sync strike spam going ? i got 11 mana regen and build doesnt feel that smooth. I do have Spell Breaker

@@dandanita1692 mana regen is important, but as you can see in the video i have 15 mana regen in character sheet and i can easily sustain my mana pool all the time. Just get mana regen on belt and rings and you are good to go. I get frailty from shadow cascade, therefore spell breaker isnt worth it anymore. It can be helpful while leveling though.

I found smokeweavers with legendary potential. You can craft mods from an exalted item ontop of uniques to make them legendary in the temporal sanctum dungeon.

Hello! Love the video, I noticed you upgraded Shadow Cascade but didn't have it in your hot bar. Instead you had Decoy, is Decoy better to run?

Shadow Cascade will only get procced by Shift, therefore you dont need it on your skillbar. Decoy is just a panic button because it can taunt enemies even without speccing into it.

Nice video! As person who never played last epoch i think i will play BD. Falconer looks cool but it would be hard to beat builds like this in terms of speed, chill, synergy :) I would appreciate some leveling video and loot filters (at least for leveling part) for this one!

Great video to fine tune my shadow dagger build. It isnt a lot different than others i am currently using the maxroll version by mcfluffin but i like some of the minoe tweaks u included in this build

One question I had is the one point into shadow master worth it if you aren't using the exploding umbral blades?

​@@whereswaldo6396 without explody umbral blades you can leave out shadow master, since only a maximum of 3 bladestorms can be out at the same time and they will seek for the enemies anyways. So no additional overlap that we benefit from.

I was following a different Shadow Daggers Bladedancer build and they really wanted a lot of "Chance to shred armor" affix on gear, how come you don't opt for it in your character planner?

Diminishing return after a certain number of shred stacks. Very strong until 70 stacks, then loses value. I would still seal it on amulet

I have a question : In every build of shadow dagger i see, you guys don't have even one stat of crit rate or crit chance and you still do crit, i dont really understand how ? If someone can explain to me how do we have crit on these build cuz in the video we see him crit with no crit chance. And on my characater i never crit, thank you guys !

Hold ALT on the shadow daggers node in umbral blades skilltree. Shadow daggers can always crit. The white numbers come from umbral blades itself.

im having trouble with umbral and shadow daggers damage scaling. it says both of them are throwing dmg scaling but most of the gear here is added damage yet it's very strong. isn't the %base phys/throw damage better?

Usually you want to stack as much flat dmg as possible first until you further scale it with %increased and more multipliers (crit multi etc.) Also flat dmg has such a high value with the 340% dmg effectivness. It depends how many %increased values you can get from gear/tree etc. aswell. But normally you want to go flat>more>increased

Okay, first of all, thank you for the video. Buuuut, i've got 2 questions, first i dont understand why most builds spec into Subzero Intrusion in the Umbral Blades tree, cause arent we kind of going for physical damage? In my head i'm losing scaling on Umbral Blades with this, but hey, i'm new so i dont have a clue. Second question, til now i followed the maxroll guide, so i can get a basic understanding of whats going on. Right now i'm trying to focus heavily on gearing, but every person is using normal rare/exalted body armor while the maxroll build uses Wings of Argentus for the 20% damage mitigation and also i'm wondering if the "increased melee cold damage" would also scale with umbral blades when using Subzero Intrusion. I'm very confused, heeeeeelp edit: oh and also, you arent using most of the dodge passives like "focus fire" in marksman tree, "wilderness scout" & Outlanders Tenacity" in the falconer tree, is it due to the double smoke weaver?

The only reason why we use the conversion node in Umbral blades tree is because of the free chill chance that we can get there. Therefore you dont need to craft it on the weapon. Also its not umbral blades itself doing the dmg for us, its the shadow daggers proc (lethal darkness) node and shadow daggers are ALWAYS physical, you cant convert it. I really like mcfluffin and the maxroll team, but their shadow daggers build guide is weird and i dont like that he keeps the wings of argentus in body armour. Such an unecessary item imo and also hard to find for casuals. i try to make my buides for the casuals so that its easy to follow and understand what im doing. I'm trying to get as much dodge as a secondary defensive layer, but i felt completely fine in high monolith corruption with my setup since we are kiting all the time anyways with high movement speed

About the Wings of Argentus, i also find it weird and confusing, cause in the end the only thing from there were achieving is the 20% dmg mitigation, no? I'm just at a point where i started doing empowered monos for the better blessing and my damage is really fine but if i'm not careful i just get oneshot (maybe twoshot). But this could be cause i'm still level 82 or smth with 1200 health and 20% Endurance/250 Endurance Threshold with capped Crit Avoidance & capped Resistances. Anyways, thank you for your time!

Hello and thx for the guide! What do you think of lowlife variation with Exsanguinous etc to get advantage of the rogues passive reduced dmg/cc? I was looking for any up to date bladedancer build but unfortunately everyone switched to falconer which i dont want to play :( One youtuber reccomended me your channel for rogue builds but i found only falconer uptodate builds :(

I personally stay away from low life and ward in general atm. I dont like overtuned mechanics. And when i write guides i want to make sure that i dont waste my time on it and have builds that last for a long time where players can always come back to. I pretty much updated all the guides to 1.0 and they are all still viable in endgame (maybe not pushing 1 or 2k corruption like the broken ones. Ah cool, may i ask which content creator you come from? :)

Until I get smoke weaver and while I level, I've been running using synchronized strike, shift, synchronized strike, shadow cascade and the combo works pretty well, the downside is absurd mana drain. I was thinking, is the mana efficiency modifier for synchronized strike not good to get for levelling just due to its drain early on? Also how do you recommend farming smoke weavers?

For leveling i can recommend not using the "dark allies" node in sync strike. You will not have 2 additional shadows for dmg, but way less mana problems which can also result in higher dps when you can attack more often. I farm smoke weaver in reign of dragons timeline or by using rune of ascendance.

Hi Just a question. its not important to starting to cap cold damage as far you put a point into Subzero Intrusion? As I see you still cap phisycal damage and I wonder if not is better to cap cold damage instead.... Thanks! We dont care about the umbral blades dmg type. We just use the node to get chill chance for the powerful defensive debuff. Shadow daggers is always physical and will not be affected by the cold conversion.

All 3:) get as much flat melee on the weapon and throwing dmg on gloves,belt,amulet,helmet + crit multiplier. At the end you scale it with physical dmg or global dmg sources like %increased dmg while wielding a dagger.

Shadow daggers, chakram and shadow cascade are all very viable endgame options for bladedancer. Even the gearing and playstyle is very similar. Chakram has highest single target dmg, shadow cascade is the tankiest of all and shadow daggers the fastest mono farmer. Choose what you prefer

Do you think Falconer passives will be useful for the lightning chakram build? theres 2 nodes that directly buff throwing damage and 1 that buffs block chance based on dex. I will probably go into a mine focused build with ballistas for cycle start but am definitely going to make a chakram build again wanted to know your thoughts on sinking 20 points into falconer along with blade dancer

The throwing and haste passives are useful for chakram, but personally i would still prefer BD over falconer. Definitely possible to play shurikens or chakrams as a falconer to bring in some build variety. The dex stacking only affects block effectiveness, not the block chance and since we are dual wielding fulgurites for high dmg its not worth taking the node.

@@trikster08 Yeah I would still be going blade dancer, just would spec into those nodes they are before the lock on falconer so just Blade dancer with falconer/rogue passives, and i must have misread the dex one bummer edit: i just dont know how much you can really min max the throwing damage buffs you would get, and if it would be worth losing points else where. With 15 in falconer and -10 in rogue and -5 in blade dance you can get +80 health, +40 dodge rating and +35% throwing dmg and 10% throwing speed, so realistically how much do you actually benefit from that

i will either start my shadow hoa, because its a crazy good starter and just my overall favorite build that i want 1.0 release to celebrate with :) Or i will go falconer and buff the bird while wielding a bow, which is gonna be very strong. I played too much bladedancer in 0.9 so i wanna go back to bows in the beginning :)

Isnt that pretty much the shift only version? I mean you need some shadows up for dps and sync strike is the easiest way to proc them. Bladedancer builds in general look pretty similar these days because its almost the same playstyle and skillsetup :)

I'm always in a dilemma about concentration vs perfection. For a pure speed farm, concentration has the 10% speed bonus if full investment, although it's a huge passive point commitment.

@@lijack0819 from what I follow his answers in other posts, the damage will be severed reduced, and also less ward generation. I don't play the build, but judgin from the videos my guess is that without the bug it wouldnt even achieve 1k current patch. But I could be wrong. He probably has a much better idea.

Hey, Im new so sorry if Im missing something obvious but how do you get 5 shadows popping out during your Synch Strike? Mine only do 3.

You can get 4 shadows out with Sync Strike (Dark Allies node in skilltree) + 1 additional one from Shift (Lasting Presence)

@@AGuyWithPants47 yea for my build i like to keep my shadows spread so that the umbral blades can hit targets from a greater distance. I want to keep my perfection stacks up and in melee chance the chance to lose them is higher. Just a more defensive playstyle that i prefer.

Addition: some legendary items and the optimal starting combo (synchronized strike - shift - synchronized strike - shadow blades - synchronized strike - shift) solve the DPS problem on bosses

Just an unspecced Decoy as a panic button. I dont need Shadow Cascade on my skillbar since i proc it with Shift. Therefore i can put Decoy in that can taunt enemies as a default attack.
