@@lorzkotzros someone in the comments let me know that the dmg for both shadow daggers nodes on umbral blades and aerial assault are stacking which is unintended. I tested my dps on dummy though, my chakrams are dealing 10x the dmg of umbral blades and UB only go up to 100k crits. So i didnt attend to abuse this and even if it gets nerfed, the main dmg source is still chakram.

If you can eek out 2 more points into Shurikens, the Ricochet node gives you 100% more crit multi (Pierce Chance -> Critical Multiplier) - since you have 4 points into the Ethereal Blades node

Hey. Hope you have a great day. Nice build as always, i'm currently theorycrafting and building it too. Have a few things to mention: 1) Plumed dagger from Arieal Assault seems not doing anything since we take Lethal Darkness in Umbral Blades tree 2) Going Aerial Prowess with Flacon's Havoc and Torrent of Talons will give you even more haste and frenzy for like 5 second(haste will be overwritten by another sources, but still better than caltrops in my mind). So i'm not sure if caltrops here any useful while Aerial Prowess gives you additional heal, haste and frenzy which is good for maintainig debufs on boss.

1) I just tested it again seperately and both plumed dagger from AA and lethal darkness from UB proc shadow dagger stacks. 2) I like the idea of getting frenzy stacks with AA since frenzy would provide alot more QoL. I just wanted to have a slow source to get the 6%more dmg from passives and i was very low on points to look into Aerial Prowess. The frenzy buff is also something you could get with experimental affix on boots which i have in my build planner. Still might try around. Thanks for the feedback!

@@trikster08 Just to add to this, if we were to swap to Aerial Prowess. I am wondering if you could drop the 3 points from Strike Their Flank and put them into Relentless Talons since you unlock the passive node anyways. You still get the 6% damage increase per point, you just miss the bonus slow damage per stack. But you make up for it with extra bird damage and healing. Just brainstorming. Edit: Or the 3 points could go into Leog's Strategem. It's 7% per point. But only applies to throwing, not global dmg increase.

I was wondering whether or not you think this new shield/dagger falconer version could be played as a blademaster, and would it be better than the dual dagger old blademaster version? I tried it and found it incredibly squishy with my current gear, seems like it needs ward maybe? Or maybe this falconer version!

you could play it with the shield setup, but bladedancer doesnt have the insane defensive glancing blow/block passive setup. So with bladedancer i would still go more glasscanon dual wielding, or you just simply abuse low life for more defense.

Completely different playstyle compared to HoA :) Oh, i will just test and play around with stuff that i enjoy. Will chill a bit since writing a guide takes alot of time and im just doing this in my free time just for fun.

Oh you can already switch to chakram if you want. I also have a shadow daggers leveling section in my guide. Its pretty much the same setup as chakram, you only self cast umbral blades. Therefore the transition is easier.

glad you are enjoying it. I mean you can always add 3/4lp uniques :) And ucenuis sphere is a good addition for sure with the increased dmg mods. I just dont wanna make unrealistic ultra endgame gear build guides that no casual will ever achieve to have. I provide a simple template with the most important uniques. There is always room for improvement.

Love the build! Very fluid. Couple questions! 1- Any modifications for hardcore? I died to lagon (whoops), but I went into the fight with only like 800hp. Probably didn't prioritize health. Just curious if you would take defense nodes sooner for HC or leave it as is? 2- Coordinated Fate. My movement skill is always on E. I can't break out of this habit. But I don't want to waste extra points. Any problem with putting the silver shroud procs on Synch Strike? My reasoning is that I am using Sync Striking in anyway. Wasn't sure on your thought tying SS with SS (its Fate!).

1. I only play SC so i cant give you the best feedback on HC. But my leveling focuses on damage first and then defenses at the end on both skills/passives. So for HC probably you wanna focus more on defensive passives first, even though dmg helps you out to kill enemies quicker :) 2. Absolutely no problem to put it on sync strike, you also use the skill very often. My movement skills are always on 2 or W, also muscle memory for myself:) Didnt want to put it on 1 because there i have falconry and i only use falconry once on bosses. Its a shitty passive tbh, i hate the concept behind it, but silver shrouds are just to good to miss.

Additional damage since we already play with a dagger. And i wanted to try out something different with Aerial Assault instead of Shift. But you can simply swap both movement skills and add frailty/slow chance somewhere else.

hey man love the builds just wondering if there is a setting i can turn off or something. i have a 3070 and blast rain cause my fps to go as low as 20 which is pretty crazy lol it gets even worse if i play with friends.

During leveling, what order should we specialize in skills for this build? Following the written guide, so far at level 14 I have specced into Shuriken and Shift. What is the next choice at level 20?

Sync strike for more single target dps. Then aerial assault. Fastest leveling is just umbral blades+shift and then respeccing into the build once you reach empowered monolith. Only if you dont mind speedrunning through the story though.

You can already do it before aerial assault, its also good while leveling because the shadow daggers dropped by your shadows from umbral blades are super strong.

Insane build that help me reach 300+ Corruption and i got T7 Level of Shurikens for +4 Shurikens. What do you think about Throwing Star for extra +1 passive skill ? or do you have any recommendation ?

When you have a +4 Shurikens you take 2 points out of Massacre (lose 50% crit multi) but spec into Ricochet (1/2) to get the pierce to crit multi conversion. That means you get 100% crit multi. But you need to get exalted rings with -mana cost to throwing skills to bring shurikens back to 0 mana. Kinda hard to balance out. Otherwise you go for Alacrity to get a bit more attack speed.

Been playing your blademaster lightning chakram build because I didn't want to go falconeer. Am i missing out on alot of capability?

Bladedancer is still very strong but not as tanky as falconer. So its gonna be harder for you to push high corruption. Also t4 fights are harder as bladedancer, i did kill all t4s very easy with falconer.

You dont need to create a new char when you are already a lvl 20 falconer. You can respec or level with umbral blades shadow dagger to make the leveling a bit easier. But its completely up to you :)

hmm should be easy to find, because i have a shit ton of them. Setup a new loot filter rule and put it on top: Show (Recolor) - Affix - Lightning dmg with Shurikens

I mean you can put 3-4 LP legendaries in every slot😂 but i try to stay realistic in my guides. Peak of the mountain helmet is maybe the only part i would recommend to cap crit chance, but i feel comfortable with my current setup.

Nothing changed for shadow cascade. Still a very strong and fun bladedancer build together with shadow daggers.

@@BenjaminScott-kw7hq oh sorry i meant that both shadow cascade bladedancer and shadow dagger bladedancer are 2 strong builds. If you mix shadow cascade with shadow daggers then you have the regular shadow daggers build :)

Probably just don't understand this game yet, but how does taking the umbral blade node that changes it to cold not wreck your damage when you build only physical and lightning damage?

Umbral Blades is just the skill that can proc shadow daggers (which is always physical). We only convert it to cold for the free chill effect. And it makes more sense to stack affixes like dexterity, crit multiplier, increased dmg while wielding a dagger because they benefit both shadow daggers+chakrams.

No reason, i just have it there. You could swap it for an unspecced decoy as panic button. But i didnt need it, so its up to you.

I just leveled new character with this build. Just reach level 60 I feel like all the damage is coming from Umbral blades from shadows not from chakrams. If I just spam chakrams damage is to low....

Its because shadow daggers are still crazy good while leveling. But once you spec more into throwing damage, crit multi, crit chance and lightning dmg with shurikens they will get very strong with all the multipliers in the skill tree.

With the flat lightning dmg for shurikens affix on helmet and body armour we get ALOT of dmg and it automatically converts it to lightning. Lightning is also always the superior element because of shock chance and the lightning res shred is easy to get as a blessing at lagons timeline. The other timelines have important defensive blessings.

I dont wanna rank falconer builds right now because the whole class is so broken and bugged. Alot of other content creators showcase absurd builds with insta kills that will get nerfed soon anyways. Good for hc once you have shield and block/glancing blow up.

I switched from umbral blades to chakrams around level 94 when I decided to finally craft some stuff and I have to say it feels like less damage, atleast vs mob groups even though it says my dps is triple that of the umbral blades.

Christ you guys need to slow down or learn to edit. I swear every one of these build videos has the creator swiping between 18 different skills within 2 seconds and talking so fast you can barely understand them. You have to put the video at 1/4 speed to even have a chance to see the names of the skills he's referring too.

You clearly know what you're talking about.... but many of these video formats are completely useless when you refer to a skill as "this skill" and then literally swipe past it faster than any human eye can even register. You're not alone though... they all do it. I have the same gripe with all these "leveling builds" that show their level 100 character with every single skill unlocked so it's literally impossible to tell what the leveling process actually was.

Its just very hard to bring all the important information in a shorter video. Thats why i also started writing build guides to include all the important information you can read through at any time, which was quite a challenge for me as a non native speaker. I would really like to only make 10min videos. But im not good at editing videos. And i also do all of this in my freetime just for fun, so i dont wanna stress myself. Over the years i developed a style of creating videos/writing build guides i feel happy and comfortable with.

@@trikster08 I'm a new player but I find the combination of your written + video guides to be really helpful and complement each other well. I use the written guide mostly for an in-depth explanation of the skills and synergies, as well as the build planner. Whereas I find the video helpful for demonstration of your gameplay, some insight into your current gear, interesting alternative playstyles/gearing options that you go into more detail, as well as some useful tips you may not always mention in the written version. I don't mind the quick skim through the abilities in the video as it's just a nice reminder. In fact, I even like it this way because if I don't understand what you mean, I realise it means I'm not familiar enough with the class/mastery/synergy/nodes and so I go back and study it a bit more. It's like a mini "test" for me and it helps me solidify my knowledge. Thank you!

If you never directly use umbral blades, why not have decoy or smoke bomb on the bar instead just in case ?

I dont need unspecced decoy because im tanky enough and i dont wanna spend extra mana. And smoke bomb only gives me haste which i already have. The decoy as a panic button is something i used alot on other builds, probably some people just copied that and think its mandatory

I guess he's talking about the double shadow dagger notes on aerial assault and umbral blades which are bugged ( they shouldnt stack but they are stacking) so alot of damage on this build comes from shadow daggers.. but this build probably works perfectly fine even after they fix it.

@@jonasbagaric3573 Thanks for letting me know! Quick damage test on dummy: 40-100k shadow dagger explosions from aerial assault and sync strike, 320-950k chakram crits depending on ailment stacks. Also this guy can simply watch my chakram bladedancer version or other rogue builds if he really thinks i'm abusing gamebreaking stuff on purpose.
