Awesome video! I play a very similar build, you should look into the node in the Sorcerer passive tree called "Lost Knowledge" I go up to around 10k-15k ward and still have plenty damage left (depending on the dps upkeep) without playing low life.

I did checked it out. it was great. tho I still used low life. I'll try to get some workaround for the dps

@@retroejoe I'm using someone else's build so I can't talk 100% knowledgeable but my dps has been more than enough, I use a katana and a crystal sword for the extra crit multi, a 230 corruption orbys dies in 10-15 seconds while I face tank him (with modifiers) but my gear is relatively good besides my resistances, I still lack here and there some, hoping for an Omni drop soon!

why arent you stacking int/dex/mana and use lost knowledge fromt he sorc tree? youll be unkillable with a lot more damage than youre doing in the vid.

Personally, i like this one better because it’s much easier to scale due to uniques. But the area of flame reave is better

I chose teleport because of: - +5% global cooldown recovery speed(for flame ward & enchant weapon) - 50% increased elemental damage Surge is also good because: - high ward gain when you hit something - longer travel distance Both are equally good, it just depends on what playstyle you enjoy. But if you want Surge, I suggest you put 8 points in Outrun and Outlast (spellblade passive) for the 30% cooldown recovery speed and ward retention

@@retroejoe so some more questions! You have not opted for Whiteout (double cast shatter strike) in this - is there a reason to leave that out or just not enough points? Also, how do you rate the following in terms of importance for the build: - freeze rate multi (and/or cold pen) - frostbite / chill / freeze chance Both Shatterstrike and Teleport/Surge have a couple of different ways you could spec them and keen to understand your take! Thx

@@gordoncollier4988 I didn't get Whiteout because my attack speed is fast enough that I can just hold the skill button. The other reason is mana sustain. By getting whiteout, there will be many instances that the enemy is already dead, and you're still casting shatter strike, missing out on the Mana Reaver proc (chance to gain mana on hit), depleting our mana pool much faster. Freeze rate multi and frostbite are always in tandem. The higher your freeze rate multi, and the lesser the current enemy life, better chance of freezing. Frostbite also increases your chance to freeze by 20% in the first 30 stacks. I would rate from the highest: - cold shred (for damage) (get from blessings only) - cold pen (for damage) (pen and shred works together too) - freeze rate multi / frostbite (for freeze chance)
