Hi Tony, Thanks for taking the time to put this together. At around 11:11, you state that once you seal an affix, that item can no longer be used to make a legendary item. That is not correct. You can use an exalted item that has a sealed affix in legendary crafting as long as the item has four non-sealed affixes. When using an exalted item that has a sealed affix to make a legendary item, the sealed affix cannot be transferred to the unique but the item can still be used to transfer non-sealed affixes over to the unique.

I actually use this sometimes to get rid of a T1 Affix on an exalted I want to potentially use in a Legendary craft. Its a guaranteed removal of a targeted T1 affix clearing that affix for an affix of your choice.

Fantastic video. Very good information on crafting. I do think that for a guaranteed seal you have to have at least a certain number of total affix tier points on the item. So if you had an item with only a tier 3 and a tier 1 I’m pretty sure the seal isn’t guaranteed even on the tier 1 in that instance, but best I remember it is an exceptionally low number of total tiers where it becomes a guarantee so should be a non issue in any instance where someone would actually use that glyph. Just thought you might like the info. Again fantastic video on the LE crafting system.

Thanks alot for this guide I just started playing yesterday and didnt touch crafting yet. Altho iam certain that early campagn that doesnt really matter so i will be saving the mats for now. Love the game so far, breath of fresh air from D4 ....

Good video. Thank you. One thing I don't understand about LE is why we have the extra step of having to hit the "transfer to crafting" button after picking them up. They should just go strait in there when collected. The only time I'd want to see them in inventory is when extracted from shattering and it does NOT show them then. I think this is backwards from useful. Unlike your video. Very useful. :)

Great video and very helpful for me as a LE noob. Question - any recommendations for what bases to use to turn into uniques with ascendance runes? I suppose it depends on the build but are there some generic uniques that are widely used and able to be ascended? Thanks

Thanks and like you say it is largely build dependent. At one stage I will cover top beginners uniques and overall great uniques in a video though :)

I like how you refer the refinement process as "divining". The crafting mechanic of this game is too good for a game that is still in beta.
