I came back here because the voice of Haku passed away from cancer at the age of 55 on April 12th, 2020. With the passing of him, i came here to see Haku Leave with a smile. Thank you Keiji fujiwara for voicing Haku. Rest in Peace

As a Japanese, I am very grateful for the fact that Haku's voice actor Keiji Fujiwara is loved. Even if he doesn't understand the language, he can be impressed by acting. He was a very great voice actor. In the mask of truth anime, his successor was decided to be Kentaro Tone, who played the role of Oshtor. He also inherits the feelings of Keiji Fujiwara and brings Haku to life.

Haku is my favourite male character of all time... Love the character development from when he was still lazy and hate working... then he forced himself to be strong, to be another person, in order to support the people around him😢😢 to the point where he almost forget who he really is because he can never reveal his true self. Until the very last moment of his life... man that hurts a lot. So I really thank Mr.Fujiwara who does a great job acting Haku... please rest in peace, if there's an afterlife, I wish to hear your voice once again 😢 The most touching moment in this part for me is undoubtedly when Nekone has already acknowledged Haku as her second big brother...long before 😢 And when Anju remember the dream 😭😭 the promise she made with Haku(fron the beginning of mask of deception😭) she call him uncle... I can feel the trembling in her voice... and the pain that she lost the last one of her family... It's just heartbreaking

The anime is set for July 2022. with 28 episodes. WE will not know if the anime will keep the original recordings of Keiji Fujiwara and be used during the animation of this moment. Hopefully Aquaplus does actually use the recordings of this scene so we can all send our proper goodbyes to Keiji Fujiwara

Fujikei is a widely celebrated seiyuu for his iconic roles as Leorio, Hiroshi, Ali Al-Saachez, Hattori Zenzou, Ladd Russo, Maes Highes, Esidisi, Hannes, and Tony Stark among others. That said, Haku is his magnum opus (he would've had a chance to top that had he lived longer but I find it difficult to imagine him topping this), he was already likely fighting cancer (hence his hiatus after the recording sessions) during recording sessions of FnH which makes it all the more impressive.

There won’t be. Haku IS dead. Becoming a God didn’t revive him. Everytime he materialises, he takes something in return. The first time was the twins and the second was the fan. The point of Haku taking Hakuowlo’s mask was to finally close off his character arc with him making a choice that he’s not forced into for the first time in the entire series. If you play the dream arenas, it’s shown that he’s clearly happy with what happened and the choice he made. Not to mention he freed Hakuowlo who had next to no control over the mask’s power compared to him who has full control over it as well as there being no other living humans other than Hakuowlo now. Haku became Mashiro, The Mikado died and so did Woshis. The other facilities stopped working. The time for humans is over something that Mask of Truth pretty much said repeatedly in the final arc with Woshis.

@@Animaniaig nah not really in my opinion, he still has promise with Mikado about becoming Savior of human races, this is why he takes all Tataris in Yamato and possibly whole world, he probably trying to turn Tatari into human again just like what his brother trying to do, the next protagonist might be his fruit of labor, the first Tatari that freed from the curse and became human once more, I hope that's the case

@@Observe-h1t he’s not. It’s explained in the epilogue that he’s turning the Tatari into vegetation because they shouldn’t be saved. The time for humanity is long done which is why the series made a point of killing all the known human characters minus Hakuowlo. Besides him, he’s as innocent as the demi-humans, humans have had their time and met with an unfortunate end. He’s freeing them by finally giving them a positive legacy where they’re not screwing things up for the future of the planet.

So glad I found this game (and the previous installment) a while browsing through the ps vita a while back. One of my favorite series of all time. The feels trip, the depth of the story and complex relationships with all the characters, and the visuals and soundtrack are all amazing. The rollercoaster of emotions I felt while playing this game was amazing. I liked all the characters (Atuy is my favorite, I found her the funniest through her quest of finding “true love”). The ending was soul-crushing (in a good way). It makes me wish that there was a different timeline where Oshtor and Haku survive and live on with the other characters, but it wouldn’t be as unique as it is now. A sequel would be nice if done properly, but it would be difficult to top this ending. Would recommend 12/10

Leopard 2 yep I watched the first season. Loved it. It made the second two games make more sense although I don’t understand how Eruru went with Hakuoro at the end. It seemed like Hakuoro went by himself (at least what I understood) but in Mask of Truth, Eruru is with him.

@@anthonyher1953 it was explained in the backflash before kuon went out of control. eruru used her soul to strenghten the seal after kuon started hearing the voices as kid. she believed kuon will someday manage to free both of them. I am realy hyped of the Ps4 remake of utawarerumono 1 in 2020 (in english)
