I didn’t get a deer this year with all my medical issues but I’m fired up to get out next year and give it my best! Great job and video Catman. I loved how the time lapse of the coming darkness portrayed the end of the season. For me and when I lived in the South, It as always a somber time when the season came to an end. Your comment of "shoot straight" reminded me of my long past uncle and how he would say the say thing to me in my youth. Today, I am old and have lived in Colorado for 23 years, and as I sit here with the clouds threatening another snow, the fire roaring in the stove and a hot cup of coffee in my hands, I love watching your compilation video of a very successful deer season. But I am also feeling rather nostalgic and somewhat sad knowing almost all my hunting relatives and friends are now gone, and I reminisce of those long gone days of hunting in the South and the feelings shared with friends and family. Shoot straight and thanks.

The discipline came from not shooting the bucks. Obviously the doe numbers are very high where he is. Good thing he took out so many doe or there'd be 30+ more deer. Too many deer leads to disease.

Idk about TN but here in Missouri antlerless tags are only $7 a piece.

Out of state hunting license are very expensive. In Tennessee a lot of areas you are allowed 2 does a day. No tag needed. But only 2 bucks a year.

Missouri’s seasons are all over now too, they ended on the January 15th. But hey I got a nanny on the 14th with my bow, so ended up using an archery tag after all, besides the lone gun tag I used back in November. I too can say it was a good season, even after nearly 4 months of chasing those things.
