Let's see...Vaughn is leaving FD, Adam is driving the S15 for the last time. I think we might see Adam driving for RTR with Chelsea next season. They've been friends forever, and it's clear that Adam is up and coming FD star.

I mean it would be cool but I don't think Adam is down for that. That would mean being sponsored by Monster Energy and Ford and doing promo's for both of them. Adam is no stranger to that, but Adam wants to push his own company, his own merch and do things his own way. One of the biggest reasons for sponsoring himself and coming away from Enjuku is the financial aspect of it all. When you're sponsored you don't have any control over the financial schedule (i.e. paid weekly/monthly and how long in between each pay) you're on their timing and it really messed with Adam's finances, which then had a knockon effect with the projects he's doing. Coming away from that and sponsoring himself means he gets total control over how much he gets paid and when he gets paid so that he can then time it to workaround all the other projects he's got going on. That's why I doubt he will move to RTR. EDIT: plus, I'm sure the RTR cars aren't actually owned by Vaughn and Chelsea, they're Ford owned. Whereas although this S15 was built by Enjuku Racing, Adam owns it and he can do what he wants with it. Since those RTR cars are owned by Ford, Vaughn and Chelsea have to have permission to use them and take them out at non FD events because anything you do with them, you're representing Ford and Monster Energy. There are restrictions and legal implications that comes with it. It's within Adam's best interest to keep everything self owned and self contained.

I would say one of the A90 Supra's that he picked up recently. I keep saying this on other comments but joining RTR wouldn't work with what Adam is trying to achieve. There are restrictions and legal implications when joining a factory backed team. It's a double edged sword. It takes away your responsibility with maintaining the car, but you also gain a responsibility by performing duties for your sponsors and representing them and it's not with Adam's interest to do that, especially when he told us why he came away from Enjuku Racing. It doesn't make sense to go back to that business model.

It’s an E36 next year. He said it, but doesn’t clarify for FD. It just makes the most sense. It’s a cool capable chassis, and one of the chassis that drift HQ has all the parts for. It only makes sense when you combine the business, and desire to win. Being an E36 owner myself, I’m biased and can’t wait to see it!
