15:12 IBG was removed from the game in season 11, but it had been around since season 1. Was a staple on Ezreal and a nice item on tanks who needed mana. Great video, I love discussions like this

Night Harvester is so weird man. What purpose does it have? Is it for assassins? No. Ludens does a lot more dmg, Rocketbelt does around the same dmg while giving you an on command dash. Is it for battle mages? No. Liandry and ROA outperform it. Is it for poke mages? No. Ludens and Liandry are better. Who is it for? Any champ that builds it gets better use from other options.
@daleodorito Жыл бұрын
Technically is for champs that want quicks in and out style of play, but don't really care that much about raw damage (cause they would take luden's). Its damage is actually more than luden's, but without the aoe component and without the magic pen (which you totally need as a mage), but has way longer cd. In practicality it is just the thing you buy when you want a luden's but you don't use mana and you don't really feel like paying for that stat and weird buildpath. A total waste of a mythic item.

I think the increased damage against enemies with more health synergise a but with the burn passive Normally you would deal 50 (6%AP) 4% of the targets max health over for seconds With the other increased damage passive you deal 56 (7%AP) 4,5% of target maximum health over 4 seconds, not exactly much of a difference but definitely a small synergy

If the problem with Crown is that it's too easy to pop, what do you think about a shield that would grant less and less reduction as its HP deplete (maybe exponentially), but regenerates out of combat as long as it's not down? That way poke would have a hard time breaking it, but burst should be able to pop it and deal a serious amount of damage through it, and leave the bearer vulnerable. It might be hard to balance though. If we want to get complex, we could add a second passive that makes the bearer inflict less damage against champions as long as its up, but gain a burst of stats when it breaks, so that if you buy it you want to avoid fights and fly away, or maybe stick to control and consistent damage, but when you're in a dire situation you could use it at your advantage. Give it an active to break the crown yourself and suddenly there's depth to the item (although it's starting to get a bit too powerful).

2:43 Galio exists thanks to Everfrost, not Rocketbelt. Delete Everfrost and he would cease to exist. Delete Rockebelt and he would remain unaffected. The dash isn't as useful for him cause he usually either uses his ult, TP or Flash/Ghost+Nimbus Cloak's speed boost to get into teamfights/catch someone.
@minimoYT Жыл бұрын
Rocketbelt does help with the movement speed after the dash, and the penetration for burst, but yes, Everfrost is more popular on him, especially since it gives mana

Twitch stream when?
@minimoYT Жыл бұрын
I am planning on returning eventually, I am pretty busy with other stuff at the present, though, so I don't really have the energy to stream. The cool thing about KZbin vids is that I can edit them on my own time and pace, streaming does require that time commitment that I haven't been able to do. Thanks for sticking around, though

Im gonna miss azir, without liandrys im not gonna be able to build army azir with spawning 5 soldiers. That passive of +5 ability haste per item is way too fun
@minimoYT Жыл бұрын
I think Cosmic Drive will fill the haste void, it's honestly pretty decent with the movement speed, it allows you to kite really well and your Q cooldown becomes much more expendable. Opportunity costs aside, it's still 100 AP, and better on DPS Azir than Shadowflame imo

I feel like the biggest Night Harester's problem is (besides other mythics) that it is trying to be too niche, i don't know how to describe it, the only playstyle that could benefit from NH more than from other mythics could be kamikaze where you just cast all spells into enemy team as fast as you can and then die, problem is that there isn't ap champion who benefits from that playstyle. Literally only champion on whom NH is the best mythic is ap Malphite.
@Playmaker150 Жыл бұрын
Funny enough Galio can go NH kamikaze since all of his abilities apart from E are AoE, high AP ratios and has insanely long cooldowns. After you cast your spells, you become a ward for 10+ seconds, so you might as well go kamikaze full AP nuke with NH on Galio.

Everfrost not D? An item giving CC is broken

I like it, it has a clear identity, it does trade off damage, and it doesn't feel that bad to play against imo. I enjoy it when items give an extra ability like that

I feel like no champion should ever have a dash though an item, not having mobility is a core weakness of some champions and they are designed around that. I am fine with everfrost though, cause it doesn't remove your weakness of not having any cc (most people that use have some amount of cc anyways) but is more like, a thing that u have to land and it isn't even that good of a cc anyways. A dash is just always going to be a superstrong tool. I don't like goredriker or the stridebreaker cause whenever I use it, it just feels like I am breaking the flow of whatever I am doing. Like I am fine with the effects, but whenever I see my guy stopping to do a small thing that is on a item in the middle of his combo and I have to ve using it constantly I just feel... cringe?, I am probably the only one that feels this, but I find they don't quite flow with the game pace. Statsticks such as rod of ages, infinity edge or jak'so are fine if they are jjst big enough, like you decided that you special stuff that defines your guy is STATS and that's it. Not very interesting but necesary I would say. You definitely feel when you buy those items. Navori is just not fine, dealing extra damage based on your crit is alright. Reducing your cds wheneve you land a crit is not, like it makes people with high attack speed that want to use abilities break, specially if they have long cds on their skills. That's just too much potential value in there. Also, all the enchanter items, maybe I can give a better insight since I play them quite often. Usually, enchanters, just don't even want a mythic, they don't want items in general, they just have really strong base abiliyies that barely scale, so they are not very excited about getting any of the mythics; they help, sure, but usually they are not the powerspike they are meant to as a mythic. But I would say hellia is shit, I have bought it multiple times and not a single time I have feel it to do anything at all, if you tell me it never actually worked to this day I would believe you. The damage and the heal don't scale and are not even that high to begin with. The item on which it was based (athena's chalice) was waaaay better, cause the amount of damage you dealt was based on THE AMOUNT of healing done and viceversa, this one is just... if you heal or damage ANY AMOUNT this happens, on a cd; it is super underwhelming. Also it sits on the middle of nowhere, if you want damage, you take a mage mythic, if you want heal you take moonstone, if you want both, this doesn't do well in neither. Moonstone is actually quite noticeable and fun, not cause it increases the heal amount by a significant margin, but also allows guys thag do single heals or shields to spread them, and therefore, trigger any buffs that may come by applying them to allies, like ardent censar. It is your go to item if you want ro go full healing support and you are happy buying it. The other support items, Solari's and Shurelia, just feel fine for me, I usually prefer to take an engage supp rather than taking a mythic that makes our team to run faster and Solari feels like the stuff you buy when you don't really want anything else, it is not bad, but it is just kinda meh, overall.

I get what you feel on Stridebreaker and Goredrinker, but I like that most of their users can either integrate them in the middle of a combo, like using Gore on a Kayn/Renekton Q, or double casting it with Riven W, just adds an extra ability that you have to account for The insight on enchanter items is super helpful, I never really paid attention to Helia, at least with Moonstone you are doing more healing and shielding, never really noticed Helia doing anything
