Hi John, where do you get your clover Clover compost from … our allotment stopped selling it they seem hell bent on that peat free
@gardeningwithjohnsoulsby11312 ай бұрын
Hi Albert, I have tried peat free and didn’t like it. I will stick with Clover professional until it’s off the market. I think that’s 2028 or maybe 2030. I get mine from my horticultural wholesaler. And I buy 22 ton. I only get it once a year and that’s in October . I do let the leek growers come and get some each year, you are welcome if you need some later in the year.

Hi John, are you on Instagram? Loved seeing all your tomatoes! I have a really cracking tomato that I’d love to be able to share with you to try if you’re interested! It’s an absolute beauty on the eye and in the mouth! 🙌🏼

I’m always open to trying something new. I love growing tomatoes and this coming season I have some new ones to try. If you would like me to try two or three of your seed I am happy to grow them and let folk know where they come from. I’m not on instagram .

How do you store onion bulbils over winter and when is the best time to set them away again please
@gardeningwithjohnsoulsby113111 ай бұрын
I leave the onion bulbils on the head as long as possible after being cut from the plant. Once they start to fall from the head I place in a small Tupperware carton and keep in my fridge at home until I start them off. Usually setting them late November in a frost free greenhouse .

Great video again john 👍 and a couple of questions plz how much are the maisey tomato seeds and I noticed the foliage on the blanch leeks is the same as mine yellow stripes and brown on the ends is that thrips damage or sun burn ?
@gardeningwithjohnsoulsby113111 ай бұрын
Thank you Mark, I will pack 25 seed per pkt for £5 (Maisey ) 80 seed per pkt (Onion) £5. Plus SAE. I think Blanch leeks always go brown on the tips and I don’t know how to stop this happening.
