3:20 fun fact, at the same time while being petrified, ryusui was calculating the speed too(it's his voice), since of course he wouldn't let senku have the fun fun of calculating alone

The reason why the Revival Fluid was able to undo the petrification despite only touching Senku's hand is because it causes a chain reaction effect through the stone. It's like if you crack a piece of glass in one spot, the cracks spread out from that point. Senku also kept his scars because he was barely petrified for a fraction of a second so they didn't have time to be restored, whereas everyone else was petrified for a couple days which is why their scars are healed

Yeah fr, he felt truly alone on an entire planet. We don't know what that's like, since no matter how alone we are, we still know there are people everywhere that just go about their business even if we don't see or hear them. Senku didn't know for sure that there were other people out there, instead there was a big chance that he's the only one awake. So, those 6 months were truly lonely and as cold as Senku seems, he's really fucking far away from actually being cold.

The funniest thing about Senku throwing it in the air and depetrifying himself is, he was entirely capable of just throwing it at someone that was petrified before him, and have them use the petrification fluid that he had on his waist on himself

But he didn't know the exact speed of the beam and it was actually very fast (40km/h) so he didn't have enough time to calculate with just a few people and had only just a few seconds before everyone was petrified. So he had only one choice, be at the end and calculate the speed and throw on himself Edit: 40km/h is 11.11 m/s and everyone was standing at 5m distance so almost 2 people were getting petrified in 1 sec and there were about 6 people so he only had 2.7 sec. He also had to be the same distance as them to be precise with the speed and not make the calculation too complicated. So he had to calculate the speed of beam, calculate the time it will reach him in and calculate the distance he would need to throw the bottle up all in just 2.7 seconds.
