I thought Ibara would've had more of a reaction to Hyoga being revived. Like, he effectively just watched someone come back from the dead, he's been under the impression that petrification equals death, he never knew there was a way to undo petrification, aside from just witnessing something god-like, I feel like the sudden realization that there's now a metric shit-ton of people sitting at the bottom of the sea just fine, and they all have it out for specifically him. I also just love Ryusui interjecting on Hyoga and Moz waxing philosophical on eugenics with "all women are queens".

My theory is that the original creator of the device from modern times was American or English. He somehow preserved himself with the device in a way that allowed himself to un-petrify after a certain amount of time. Then when he woke up, he started working with Ibarra and others for whatever reason. Maybe shape the new world by his design?
