Remember, Senku has been making rockets since was a kid because he shared his dads dream to be an astronaut but he was too young for JAXA so started making his own rockets. One of his mini rockets made it to the the edge of earth's atmosphere when he was in middle school so the moon being the anime's goal is full circle and not that unrealistic as a genius who has been breathing rockets since elementary school

Another thing how all the things senku has been building after de petrified are somewhat related to the components of a spaceship. Also at the very beginning of the show senku’s goal was a space mission even after the petrification stuff .

Yes and no. I have a theory that Young Senku is the hero and Old Senku is pulling a temporal Prime Mover to replicate the conditions that led to the creation of the Ishigami Tribe. Old Senku is essentially Vandal Savage in the Future Stone World causing things in the past to transpire to ensure that things play out as they already have. Meaning that this universe is stuck in a closed-time loop. The reason why Why-Man sounds like Senku is because it is Senku. But many years later. To say anymore is to spoil Seasons 4 and 5. And best believe that you want to be around to see what's in store for Seasons 4 and 5.

For me that episode is the biggest plot twist i've seen in a while, hearing senku's voice used as a threat could be an indicator that whoever is against them is as smart or even smarter than Senku, if we suppose Why man is the one who made the petrification device, he is for sure smarter than Senku, but we still can't be so sure, it could be some tech that you can only somehow accquire on the moon, explaining his location

This episode is where they should have ended for the season. Look at the level of speculation at the end of this episode. Now imagine what anime onlys would be cooking up between seasons if it had ended here. Again this anime just keeps ending the seasons at the wrong points. I love this series but the anime just keeps failing to end at the best hype moments. BTW, go back and look at how many shots of the moon have appeared in the series before now, there is a reason it featured so prominently.
