I got off to a good start on day one by making some good decisions early and abandoning what I saw in practice. This place has giants but not a lot of bites so I need to make each bite I do get count. The goal for today is to stay inside the top 10 and advance to the knockout round.

Ate boiled peanuts all my life and absolutely love them. Hell I even make my own. Go pull them up out of the field, pick them off, wash them, and start boiling. Add a jar or 2 of jalapeños the last few minutes of boiling and then you got something that’s 🔥🔥 keep catching them biggs DC 🤘🏻

I passed on the boiled peanuts when I was in Alabama and Georgia. We grew peanuts in West Texas and I never heard of boiled peanuts until visiting Alabama/Georgia

When you saw me, you greeted me by saying, Hey its the Kayak Man. Congratulations to you and your wife on the new arrival of the first born. What up Brett, very happy too see thst you and your family are still doing well. My youngest daughter and I really enjoyed talking with you when we where there. We both still talk about that day of meeting you all. Yes I got my kayak and yes I'm in tournaments, working on getting the rest of equipment. I live in Prattville next to D&M trolling motor service. I eat boiled peanuts all the time. Man sells them at the pine level exit every Saturday. I get them when I'm heading to Lake Jordan. Drop me a good way point Dustin 😄

Hell yes, I've ate 'em! I remember, before Clanton went wet, we used to have to go down to the County Line to buy beer. There was a snaggle-toothed ol' gal down there that made the best boiled peanuts on Earth. (Better than Hawk's brand, that you get in South Alabama and Florida) She'd have a big pot of 'em boiling, right outside Buster's Package Store and they smelled so good, you just had to get some. I stopped in there one Friday night and there she was, in all her summer teeth, tube top glory. I asked her what her secret was. She spit some Copenhagen juice (DC would've fell in LOVE) and immediately replied, "Bacon Grease!" Good stuff! 😂
