Enjoyed that little jaunt (at around 50 miles, not really little) out. You're a more determined man than I am. It's absolutely sodden in this neck of the woods. I was cycling on the Lincolnshire Wolds at the weekend, and from high up, one could see for miles across the flat lands. The sun was out and sparkled on the fields out to the horizon. Absolutely beautiful, but showing that every field as far as the eye could see, was saturated with water, that formed pools and mini-rivulets, everywhere. I've never seen so much rain and water. It's going to take some time to dry out, and then the mosquitoes and midges will be rampant. You're a brave man camping out at the moment, but at the same time, I've a feeling you're making a wise decision taking this opportunity! Wat..eves! 🤣 Great post Jethro, you take care buddy!😊
@JethroJessop10 ай бұрын
It's been the same here and everything is sodden. The river is running high and everything is standing in water it seems. I timed this trip perfectly though and got great weather despite the wet ground. I got back home just as the rain kicked in again. But I can feel spring lurking around the corner. A muddy spring, but spring nonetheless.

Not sure about the KAW. It is that part of the world but I think if the two intersected it would be just a quick crossover. I'll have to check my records and see. No point washing the bike on this one, it would have been filthy again in minutes. The muddiest ride I've done in a long time!
