Last minute summer roadtrip to Dallas/Fort Worth | Leaving the homestead and Blue Betty Behind

Join us on a spontaneous last-minute summer roadtrip to Dallas/Fort Worth! We are leaving Blue Betty the bus behind and heading to The Lone Star State. We dropped the dogs off in Amarillo Texas at a Dog Resort and made our way to Wichita Falls, Texas to our overnight stay at the La Quinta Inn and Suites.
We ordered some takeout from Hawaiian Bros in Wichita Falls, Texas, before turning in for the night to rest up for another day out on the Texas highways!

Ohh yes this is my type!!! Happy late Father’s Day Kyle. I took my husband to the hotel went swimming and hot tub then had a nice dinner. It was relaxing so needed it a lot been going on in life!

Wow, watching this video brought back old family memories. We lived in Dallas area and used to go to Santa Fe & Chama, NM every 3 day holiday or longer with our 3 kids. Horca, NM was excellent as well. We moved to Bend, OR for the high desert and alpine forests. Love watching your family hang together along with your wonderful messages. The foods that come to mind when I think of Texas are Barbecued Ribs or Brisket, Tex-Mex like Fajitas or Enchiladas, Peach Cobbler and Pecan Pie.....Now I'm hungry.😃 Stay safe and have fun out there guys.

Hi Kyle and Jenn! Great video! I didn’t see Chico when you put the dogs in the kennel. He might have been there but didn’t see him. If you don’t mind me asking. The Quintas are very nice to stay in. We stayed there in this’d when we traveled. Your food looked good. We have a place here called L&L Barbeque and the food looks the same. Their garlic fries were delicious. Spring creek BBQ. It’s yummy. I live right outside of Ft. Worth. We want to move to Florida. My husband is from Clovis New Mexico. You should go to The Clovis Zoo. It’s awesome and very sweet. Have a great time.
