At first when you showed your oven I thought it was a repurposed angel food cake pan with a lid . Chili Relleno is one of my favorite Mexican foods right behind Tamales . I'm with the Sierra Club on many things , one is the motto "Take only memories , leave only footprints" although I expand footprints to include tire tracks on established trails . I'm a hiker first and a trail driver second , and it doesn't hurt that you travel a lot of my old haunts from my first 62 years living in So. Cal. , that's why I love you guys !

Hey Marco, another great video, one that I have come to expect from your channel and I never get disappointed. Could I ask a favour from you though? Can you please shoot a video on how you take care of your skottle when not on the road. How do you pack it, how do you season it, and keep it clean. I just bought one for myself a few weeks ago (solely due to see it in use on your channel), and I absolutely love it, but it is cast iron, and I know there will be lots of elbow grease needed for upkeep. Thanks in advance.

Hey Marco, same thing here in Phoenix during the summer... hot in the desert at 1,300' elevation, but, drive 2 hours and get to 7,500' on the Mogollon Rim, and the temperature drops 20+ degrees in the cool pines. Check out Forest Road 300 on the Mogollon Rim, if interested.... lots of articles and videos about it, and it's my favorite camping area for the last 25+ years (all 40 miles of FR 300!). Food! Wow, I'm really interested in the rolled steak and how many options could be made with it. And, the chiles rellanos looked so delicious! Perfect for Lent, too. Coyote Flats was a good decision. Laurel Lake, although stunning, is kind of like the Grizwalds at the Grand Canyon. It’s a little bit of a drive for a very small, crowded lake. The trail is cool, but not challenging. I’ve done it in a ‘97 TJ and an ‘86 Toyota 4x. It has amazing views, but the time is a push when it comes to reward. Biggest plus, golden trout.

How do you know the difference between legal and illegal fire pits?
@OVRLNDX2 жыл бұрын
When we plan the route we check for listed restrictions, sometimes it ok to have a fire as long it's in a metal container, lately restriction of open fire has been increased. we know that's this area has a fire restriction so if we see a firepit that means it is an illegal fire pit. I recommend checking the BLM Bureau Of Land Management web site for rules of the area to visit.

@@OVRLNDX BLM and FS allows here in Eastern Washington for rock fire rings to be made and used in dispersed sites when there is no fire restrictions. Thanks for sharing knowledge 😁
