Being a vegan I don't eat any of the foods Marcos creates in his outdoor kitchens. But watching him do it so memorizing. Like watching a pianist preforming a Mozart piano concerto. And his modestly and encouragement to others makes him someone you want to invite to Thanksgiving dinner.

If you just went north a little farther on 89. Greagle... Gold Lake HWY up into Lakes Basin, Plumas NTL Forest. Over 20 lakes tucked into a bowl up in the Sierras. Glacier formed. Improved campgrounds, primative campgrounds, 4WD only accessible. A lot of really technical 4WD trails.

Very nice trip with family! Thank you for sharing. Traded my JL Diesel for a 392 extreme recon last week ... looking at 4 months build time. Your experience and feedback on the 392 has been invaluable. I had the V6 before the diesel. It has been a progression. I'm (my inner teenager that is) looking forward to the rumble.

The way this was shot is beautiful, one thing you may want to put out there is to be “bear safe”. Just as you would shake your shoes and sleeping bag in the desert, bear safety with food is very important in the mountains. If it smells good to you, it smells great to bears. Loved the video!

You nailed it. The point of "getting out there" isn't how far a Jeep will go... it's how much time with family can be spent together while away exploring new places. I have a tremendous history of boondocking camping trips, but, some of my better times lately have been campground camping (only because of showers, quiet hours overnight, and resources/fuel/shopping close by).
