ROAD TO EXPO MOUNTAIN WEST - EPIC CAMPING AND AMAZING FOOD ON THE TRAIL

Join us on our trip to Loveland Colorado for the 2022 Overland expo mountain west. We travel from California to Utah where we camp at one of the most epic camping spots ever, I cook an amazing "Bistec Borracho" dinner under a dramatic sky and an amazing view to the mountains. Then we travel to Colorado in the rain to arrive to Expo. On our way back we found another Epic camping spot right next to a beautiful creek where I cook another amazing meal and have a good night sleep with the sound of the creek and the sounds and smells of the forest!

Great video Marco ! when it's a choice between jalapeno and serrano I like to mix them with the serrano chopped pretty fine compared to the jalapeno. When I used to make tacos for my son and I, I always used 1 jalapeno and 3 serrano in the mix. I spent 62 years living in the San Diego area so hot food is pretty normal. I will have to try that recipe for crackers though, I've always loved apricot preserves.

Marco, I was born and raised in San Diego but moved to Colorado in 2003 after almost 30 years of living back home. I haven’t had a good carne asada burrito or torta since moving here. What steak is the best steak to use for carne asada? Also, how do you recommend I prepare it? Thank you brother!

That is awesome!! Colorado is amazing! I use Skirt steak and also RibEye for carne asada tacos. RibEye, i only use salt and pepper to season it, Skirts steak or Arrachera you can use a special meat rub, or salt, pepper and lime. You can even marinate the meat in beer like I did in this video.

Also use chuck eye steak, comes out great grilled and tender. Sirloin steak as we call it Diezmillo its really good both just with salt
