Always appreciate your perspective, Mike, thank you. Flying Frog is a noteworthy contributor to our hobby; the theatrical artwork, soundtrack, and extra components really speak to what tabletop gaming is all about -- creating and imaginative and immersive experience. Detractors of these elements should realize that they're speaking out against variety and creativity in gaming. Even if these choices don't reflect your personal preference, Flying Frog should be applauded for bringing something unique to the table.

One of my favorite games ever! Been playing for a few years now and we are still seeing things we haven't seen before. I have all of the expansions and am loving it. I will say the best way to play this game is with 5 players. 4 heroes and 1 zombie player. 2 zombie players is not as fun. With each new expansion they add a lot of cards. To give an example there are 162 Zcards and 166 heroe cards. A lot of variety!

Is Michael Vincent still reviewing games somewhere?

Nice to see that you actually listen feedback. Dan still has his background music playing all the time (although it's much quieter now than in the beginning).

Great review. Keep up the good work! Funny introduction with the speakers, by the way =p

I have played a few games of LNOE and although it's true luck can have a heavy weight in some plays, I have eperienced some epic plot-twists that make it totally worth!

@Michael Johnson - haha, thanks, I really didn't expect the backlash I got from the music, but when I went back and watched it again...it was pretty repetitive and annoying :) Figured making a joke out of it was the easiest solution - thanks for the feedback :)

Took a while for someone at the Dice Tower to review this!

One problem I have with the game is how horribly random it can be when you are looking for items shuffled randomly in the item deck. We played one game (forgive my memory, it was over a year ago) where we had to escape in the truck, and needed to find keys, gas, and some other thing I think. We had everything we needed in just a few searches and were gone in the truck pretty much instantly. I don't think we even killed a zombie. So we played again. Keys were literally the last card. Too random

You can have the worst luck throughout the entire game, but in the last few turns the stars will align and something amazing happens

Good review. This game doesn't get the credit it deserves. I've probably played it 20-30 times. Even though it is random, my games tend to end with each team going for the win with only 1-3 turns remaining. I have never seen a theme represented so well in a game's rules. The slow zombies are a steadily rising threat that can get out of hand, and the cards are snap shots of cliches from the genre. The game tells a story, and if you like role-playing, it will be even better.

@indianacheckers I agree - my best experiences with this game have also been with 5 players. It really is a great game and I plan to get the other expansions at some point.

I have this game and the expansion"The Gathering " but never played it. Is this game better than Zombified ? Oh, how does it play as solo is: paying more than one character ? Thanks in advance.

Last Night on Earth or Zombicide? Please help my decision….

last night on earth is good for player vs player. zombicide is cooperative. both are great games and you cannot go wrong with either. it all just depends what type of experience you are in for, vs players or vs zombies.

Its rubbish. Want a game you know you cannot win with half of the game still to play? Play LNOE
