Tandem parking is when a car parks behind another and blocks them in so that person needs a way to get their car out. Boston parking is hell. lol. Not many parking spots

What really helped my dog when we moved was just walking in and out while he stayed inside. We did it so many times that he just stopped caring lol. Working our way up from a few seconds to minutes to hours. Hope this helps! 😊

Love green, it is a neutral, look to nature. Green, soft muted blue, gray, charcoal with natural and or painted wood pieces, beautiful! Green really works with everything except red. Green and red only at Christmas! Go to a Pottery Barn and look at colors that they are showing with your beautiful bedding. The taupe looks really nice with that green. I hope Lumpy adjusts quickly, he is so sweet! I bet he sensed the unease in everyone's first night. New condo, how exciting!

Hi Lori. Get a white noise machine for your condo. They are great for blocking out noise. We travel with one especially when we have our dogs with us.

The Lumpster is out of sorts. He needs some positive reinforcement experiences in his new surroundings. He lays in his new bed "Good boy" small treat.. Goes for a walk "Good boy" small treat etc... Just the every day tasks until he gets acclimated. I walk dogs for the Humane Society and have four rescues😊

The comforter color actually looks very good and I’m sure you’ll do some accessorizing to to blend in with both colors. LOVE the apartment, Lori! What a great space! You remind me of my husband and I when we first started out and it was just us in the city with our little furbaby love, Macy. No kids yet, and small space living and downtown fun! (We are now in a very busy 5 kid raising stage of our lives 3,10, 12, 14,18! But boy, do I look back on those days fondly!) I know EXACTLY what you need, you NEED a dog walking coat! Girl, it is a THING! It is not a regular ol coat, either lol. We lived in the midwest and needed to walk our pup around a busy downtown and I had a nice long puffer, with a fur trimmed hood and I stayed so toasty warm and never knew what I was missing before I had it for walking our girl. Gosh, I donated it years ago when the season's of our lives changed but it was a total game changer when I first got it. Kept it on a hook by the door, it was so long, it was blanket like in the cold, Michigan weather. Idk if you have seen the viral Target long denim sherpa jacket, but that would be perfect and a little more elevated, and so cute with a little hat to stay warm! The green is so cute! I think you'll be happy once you have some lamps in there and style the room a bit more. Our couches are almost the same color as the one you ordered and they're great. They're so easy to keep clean and I love the pop of color. I definitely think the bedroom could use a lighter colored rug to brighten it up a bit too

Thanks for sharing your new space...I love the green bedspread...a suggestion, you showed the little "throws" at the end of the bed, try a pattern (not floral, maybe geometric, or pucci inspired swirls) just something small to break up the solid & grab attention from the gorgeous dark floors and flatness of all the solids...blank palette right now it will come together.

We just moved last month 2000 miles and yes new house sounds it took our corgi about 4 nights to adjust.. so quiet at our new place in Maine too so funny I chickened out on a green couch went light gray

First, I recently moved and treated myself to the hatch alarm clock and don’t regret it for one second. My dogs love it and helps with all the house sounds. I like the the subtle pops of green. Good choice. We've been in Kingman, AZ for almost a year in our very first home. It's a new build with quartz countertops throughout and I use Sprayway Glass Cleaner to clean them and man it makes them gorgeous and smooth. I use it on so many things and it smells amazing.

Oh, chocolate brown velvet....that would look good with the gray walls. I have the Repose Gray on my walls and chocolate leather couches and the gray silver fur throw pillows and it looks great! It's kind rustic but modern at the same time.
