One of the issues especially in the first movie was the blue filter. In New Moon somehow they made him look like 40 instead of 17, it was the combination of hair, makeup and clothes (that horrible suit especially) for me, and that in the beginning of the movie his lips were too dark in contrast with his body while when in Italy his lips are made so pale he looks sickly instead of like a vampire. In Eclipse the sideburns made him look like he came from the 70s or 80s and owns a Harley Davidson, other than the weird sideburns he looked pretty okay in Eclipse. But I felt that in Breaking Dawn he didn't look pale enough for a vampire. He's always described as very pale in the books and in the final movies he didn't look pale enough. I think they didn't do a proper job in any of the movies. And the fact he looked so different in every movie (as did the rest of the Cullens) and it had nothing to do with the aging of the actors but everything with choices made for hair, makeup and clothes, couldn't "convince" me. I wished that the team responsible for their looks would have stuck with one look instead of changing it up every movie, they are supposed to be vampires, frozen in time. In Eclipse I didn't even recognize Jasper the first time I saw it and thought that they had casted a different actor. I really had to "ignore" the constantly different looks of the Cullens to like the movies and felt like I had to use my own imagination to unsee things and pretend they looked the same constantly. 😅

I think and feel that this part right here is where all the earlier Movies take you to. It’s so oddly sensual and just plainly wrong that I watched it an inappropriate amount of times considering I was in my mid fifties when I became a Twi-heart and understood what all the ruckus was about with the teenage girls. I took it very personal when in real life she cheated on Robert Pattinson. He really loved her like Edward. Now she looks like him. I saw her at an awards show. Sad. I always remember this part.

There's one thing I believe, is really Edward virgin? It's impossible, I can't believe. And if you see this part , you better see the extented version. It's funny but only 3 times and she's pregnant.
