I noticed that hovering over your drift wood gives the attack option. But I only have option of harvest. Using a beat stick on this gives me nothing. So I assume you also need to find a certain type of driftwood that looks like a tree stump, as in you video?

There is another option: wander around a hard map and find someone’s +Q construction. Extractors are best. Destroy it and recover the wood. Then as you have done in the video start the process with your quality fiber. This is a better option if you change servers.

Tried to harvest driftwood with a quality beat stick last night and it wouldn't harvest any wood at all. Still destroyed objects but no resource gain. Possible bug? Or stealth patched?

It's a bug. I've encountered this as well. It seems like the resource respawns but when you farm it you get no resources. Just wait for it to respawn and try again

@@FusionThunder I'll try again tonight, I tried harvesting other things with the beat stick too and also nothing. Also possible it had a lot to do with those lost connection to hosts that were happening. All is well anyways I found some quality rupu vine in a med tile, bonus ducks for me!

you need to get the range finder.. its hunt and peck until then, if quality crafting is of interest and .. it should be .. for so many reasons just the stronger gathering tools alone is a life saver...get the range finder asap, zone in go to a high hill and scan the tree's .. move in closer find another high spot and start looking more detailed at the area spot bone point and check rinse and repeat. shiftingsands site allows you to track your findings personally as well as clans to share with their members so everyone can add and everyone can go farm from eachothers findings.. hope that helps.
