Sad they don't make shows like this. Just as in British TV it's the same here in the states ALL our good ones are gone.

Sadly almost all, apart from Glenda (Sarah Thomas,) have now gone. Will never see the like again. One of my favourites on here was Joe Gladwin. Such a versatile actor. sadly died in 1987. Catch him in 'Nearest & Dearest' as the lecherous pickler Stan Hardman. R.I.P. Joe.

Having run a pub for years the costs imposed meant that we had to close our doors as we didn't do food, we had live entertainment every weekend which we ended up paying for because there wasn't enough profits to continue paying for it . Our pub which was built in 1780 and had been a pub for 100 years is now a pile of rubble as the owners couldn't re-let it, before being a pub it was a court house and still had the cells which became the cellars and toilets and tunnels to the hanging rooms.. Very sad to loose such a historical building

Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky."
