I'd love to visit Holmfirth one day as I am a big fan of the show! Besides Sid's Cafe and Laura Batty's house, there are other locations I'd also like to see, like Wesley's shed and Auntie Wainwright's shop, but most especially the hills and mountains around the town, they all looked so beautiful in the show

Yes I visited for the first time in 1986 and have been 3 times now although this was the first time we visited the graves. It is a very beautiful area. Thanks for watching and your comment.

It is a beautiful part of Yorkshire. Great location for Last of the Summer Wine. It was nice to be able to pay respects to both Peter Sallis and Bill Owen. Hope you get to travel to Holmfirth soon.

I first visited Holmfirth in 1988 and I guess that was in the peak of LOTSW. Beautiful part of the country. I do love being at filming locations. All the best. Fran, Paul and the Minions.

Cleggys house and howard and pearls house is in hill street in Holmfirth about mile and half from nora Betty's house I've been there on 3,10,2022.
