Yes, when you clean the windows with deionised water and then they wash down on the lead it reacts with lead and wash down the tiles and kills the Algae and somehow cleans it too. I have the same thing

Lovely job. How are you getting it so foamy?

Get the mix right and it should foam up a treat. I think the brush helps though, it foams up as it comes through the bristles to the surface.

No. All these building materials sit damp in our moist climate, which encourages black algae, then lichen and moss to form. Makes everything look quite grubby.
