Just look at that thing on the bench! I wonder whether any Tamiya designers/engineers ever see these videos,and see just how far people have modified these platforms way beyond their original specifications! In all honesty that thing still looks in great condition bearing in mind how fast it has been going! Cracking speed there mate,its been great following your journey . ​ Unfortunately we didn't manage to make the deadline this year buddy. The rockets we ordered from China didn't arrive until last week, then I got bloody covid! 🤢😷 Gutted we missed out this year as we really enjoyed the tto2 one last year. But, I've really enjoyed watching you guys compete! Hopefully we will be continuing our ongoing tescos figure of eight time trials series as we go into winter, with many new cars to put around the track/get on the leader board! I think the man like Peter Smith will also be coming down at some point to put some of his creations around the track! All the best buddy. 😊 👍 👍 👍

It's a shame, the challenge was over far too quickly. Great work, fastest brick in the world! 😅 At the end the Mamba X threw up a heat warning. The ESC is too weak for serious 3S runs with such high-KV motors. All in all a great achievement, thanks for taking part! 🎉I hope I get another chance to run tomorrow. Unfortunately it only rained today.

Another great run and boy was it flying!!! I got mine out today as we had a break in the rain today. It did well but I am still far behind ya! I did get my personal best speed though so it was a good day. Congrats on being in the mid 80s! Now the question is what terrible chassis will it be for next year???

@AddamsPlayground Thanks! When I get a moment I was going to try a different body with the same set up and see if the speed brick body was holding it back. . I can't wait to see your run. As far as chassis if he picks the mb01 I might cry lol.

@@JoevsRc yeah, you did not go with the most aerodynamic body! I am sure you will net a couple more mph not pushing the brick down the road! I am with you on the MB01, I would much rather do the G6-01 than that sloppy little thing!
