4th Albatross ever seen in Newfoundland & Labrador (all Black-browed)! The last one in Labrador was filmed next to a crabbing boat off of Makkovik in 2009. The majority of them breed in the Falkland Islands, so that bird's come a very long way. Congrats, and thanks for documenting the rare stuff you see up there, whether it be mussels, odd fish in the shrimp trawls, or otherwise!

Right on thank you, I do enjoy doing this. Back in the early 2000's, from memory was either 2001 or 2005 we seen a adult albatross while crab fishing, we had the Baccalieu Mist back then. My brother took a picture while it was pitched near the boat, I do believe that picture has been used in a bird guide book and is probably one of those other sightings.

Cool sighting on the albatross. My Musher's Tails channel has a few vids of me banding ducks, if birds interest you. How do you schedule sleep while fishing? Even with the great food I would have lost weight on that trip. Too much puking due to the sea sickness. Thanks for the video.

Our shrimp is rebounding, hopefully the trend continues. Price is low though but I think that will improve a bit for next season...

@@Biglandtrapper yes sir prices are low for us to and the sharks are so bad you can't get your tail bags pulled in fast enough to save your catch it seems like the sharks are getting worse and worse every year
