@@TheVinylLoungeMtl my brothers saw The Doors at the Spectrum the same show where they open with Who Do You Love and Morrison proclaims "Hey Philadelphia ! Do you feel alright ? " and someone in the crowd says "Hey Morrison !" The announcer in the beginning was from WMMR-FM a 3 year old underground FM station. He told the crowd the fire marshal wasn't going to let the show go on if the crowd didn't move back . There were no chairs in the front which was called a "dance concert" at the time

Interesting that it was “Riders on The storm” that was his last recorded tune, as he was riding out his own storm with the Florida prosecution, sudden relocation to Paris arranged by Pam, leaving the Door’s, at least temporarily. In that respect, it’s a poetic remembrance, just as Jim would have wanted. I so wish that he had never left the United States, as I believe he would be alive today. He should have left Pam, with what she was doing, and the booze behind. RIP, Jim.🎶❤️🎶

I believe he mistook Pamela’s heroin for cocaine and she was afraid to tell him what it was when he took it off a coffee table because he did not want her using heroin. She allegedly admitted this to several people and couldn’t live with the guilt. She should have told him what is was and stopped him. Tragic.

@@nanny287 I have seen 2 TV documentaries on this where they went into a lot of detail and interviewed many close to Jim and even those who saw him on the day he died and both shows concluded heroin was the cause. Apparently it was "Chinese heroin" which is strong and is now called fentanyl. He had also been drinking in the morning at a bar with a friend. Mixing the 2 is lethal.

@@paterliber He was very drunk, both substances were white, Pam got it from her “Count” sometimes boyfriend, did not tell Jim, spread it out on the coffee table, he though that it was cocaine, she did not stop him out of fear he was leave her for lying about doing it, and he took some and died because she did not tell him or stop him. She told their friends all over town, knocking on their doors at all hours crying out of guilt. Many people heard this story who are in the know. They revealed this information in print and on television also.
