I just love fishing! My motto is, I'll catch 'em, and clean 'em , and even cook 'em, but I won't eat them. Am allergic to fish, both fresh water and salt. But just fishing in general gives me a peace of mind I can't get anywhere else.

Yes! I love fishing, shrimping, crabbing, scalloping, lobstering... All of it. But I don't eat it. I'm not allergic just don't care for the taste

Fishing! The ultimate sport. No other activity can give to you peace, serenity, thrill, all in one action. I don’t even care if I catch. Just be.

I thought they died after they spawn for the season? Is that not the case?

Steelhead are actually a trout. They act like a salmon which live in the saltwater and return to fresh water to spawn but...they don't die. Only king, coho, pink, and sockeye salmon spawn and die.
