I'm 30, I've watched like 20 animes at most and One Piece doesn't even come close to top 5 😂😅. After 1000+ I really don't understand why there are so many people that feel so strongly about One Piece. One Piece at it's best is great but at it's worse is also awful. And by awful I mean hundreds of mind-numbingly boring episodes in a row (Fishman Island, Punk Hazard and Dressrosa). If One Pace didn't exist I would have definitely abandoned the anime in Dressrosa.

I think the sword rankings are a little hard to get in the short scene and they really just play a very tertiary role in One Piece so it isn't brought back up often so if you missed them: - 12 Supreme Swords - 21 Great Swords - 50 Skillful Swords - An unknown number of Grade Swords - Regular Swords The sword Zoro got from his friend Kuina (Wado Ichimonji) is one of the "Great" swords, the sword he got from the shopkeep (Yubashiri) is one of the "Skillful" swords and both the cursed sword (Sandai Kitetsu) and the sword of the girl, Tashigi (Shigure) are "Grade" swords. In short: Zoro now owns 2 of the 83 best swords in the world and a pretty dope cursed blade on top.

Half the fandom has wild theories on how Tashigi could possibly be Kuina, so you guys are good on that, it's just a regular part of the fandom. Zoro threw the sword up to test the curse. He figured that if the curse was a danger to him, the sword would cut off his arm while falling.

Naruto is my favourite NO 1 anime for decades, i started when i was a teenager. so i only know oncepiece existence thru friends. i just didnt pay attention to it because i was very into with naruto only. i didnt bother to watch onepiece at all at the time. Fast forward till the finale of naruto. and it is still my NO 1 anime of all times. Then only i started watching OnePiece after Naruto ended. because i want to see why is this anime is always greater than Naruto. fyi, i am a very harsh critic when it comes to judging a good anime. So onepiece doesnt feels as good as naruto as i was watching till episode 100-500. but when it reach episode 700-800, i realize that onepiece is almost as good as Naruto, and i can finally see why Onepiece is always above Naruto in ratings from various sites. Shockingly that is not the end yet. Fast forward to 2022, im caught up the latest onepiece manga. And something inside of me just clicked! I just realized something i had not noticed for so long after watching onepiece. I thought there's not way Onepiece can produce a good story better than Naruto, but i was soooo sooo wrong. OMG!!! how did i not notice.... Onepiece is actually the best storymaking in ALL OF HISTORY. i mean Naruto story/world building is so good. but its "NOT EVEN CLOSE" to onepiece level of depth story and world building. I see that now clearly. Onepiece is still ongoing, and i can see the final arc is going to even break the internet. So im a Naruto diehard lover for decades, and then after dethrone naruto for onepiece immediately made me realize how inferior Naruto is compared to Onepiece. Even theres very good modern anime like AttackOnTitan & Demon Slayer, but not even close to the level of Naruto/Onepiece. the difference between them is 'slow pace series' vs 'modern CGI fast pace series'. To you Rice & Ginger: I dont want to spoil your favourite being Naruto like i did man years before. so i would advice you to keep binging and enjoy your Naruto journey. Pick up your pace for Naruto, and slow down Onepiece a little bit. That way, u can end Naruto series and give your rating first, and onepiece is still ongoing, so onepiece is still to be seen. You will be able to make judgement after u caught up both!! I dont want you to watch onepiece too fast, since its very long an it needs some binging. instead i like to see you enjoy the naruto journey as your fav anime. So i hope u finish your naruto journey, then u can focus more on onepiece. So what is your no.1 guys? Naruto VS Onepiece.

Something I want to clear right now, a lot of people assume that luffy wants to be like roger, thats not the case, he always says he wants to be king of the pirates, not he wants to be like roger, but people wrongly assume, "luffy wants to be king of the pirates" + "roger was king of the pirates" = "luffy wants to be roger" I am not saying thats what you two are assuming, more like clearing that up before that idea sprouts.

Man it usually goes like that. Naruto was my favorite anime of all time and I thought nothing could ever dethrone it. Then around 2016, I was simping for this girl who was really into One Piece so I just casually started watching cuz I wanted to talk to her. But ye I remember, during Enies Lobby, when she said the thing (OP fans, yk what I'm talking about), I just paused, sank into my couch, went through the 5 stages of grief and accepted that One Piece was better, at least imo.
