Last Stop | Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve

Out time in Utah had come to an end but we made time for one unique stop on our way home, at the incredible Great Sand Dunes. We only had 12 hour to spend in this park, a few of which we hoped to get some sleep before driving another 12 hours. We set up our camp and headed for the sand. Without any idea what to do once we got to the base of the dunes, we took it in, watched kids sled and of course got our shots. Once we got back to camp we took time to kick back. It isn't common for us to spend much time at our campsites so this was a nice change for once. We watched the sun go down behind the dunes making way for the spectacular sky of stars.
