Media coverage of last hydrofoil service on Sydney Harbour on 18 March 1991. Replaced by locally designed Jetcat catamarans which operated until 31 December 2008 when the service was axed by the NSW State Government.

not poor reliability, stop lying, the hydrofoils were designed for longer distance runs not for sgort distance runs from sydney to manly, also the jetcats that replaced the hydrofoils brokedown more often than the hydrofoils
