Police work is highly, highly dangerous and stressful. The vast majority of us could not stomach a single shift. Nonetheless, when it hits the fan (which is an everpresent feature of policing), it's sad to see some segments of the system close rank and seek to punish the public and avenge the fallen. Shame on the Crown for being cowed and pursuing the case to the end.

This is a horrible chain of events and am soorry to hear of this man’s death and the accusations against Zameer. You can clearly see he and his family are in distress. The police must review their practices and stop needed to put innocent people in prison.
