My favorite way to use Feta is in this recipe. Feta Turkey Burgers By Althea Ingredients Original recipe yields 4 servings 1 pound ground turkey 1 cup crumbled feta cheese ½ cup kalamata olives, pitted and sliced (we use black olives) 2 teaspoons dried oregano ground black pepper to taste Directions: Step 1 Preheat the grill for medium high heat. Step 2 In a large bowl, combine turkey, feta cheese, olives, oregano, and pepper. Mix together, and form into patties. Step 3 Lightly oil the grate. Place patties on the grill. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, turning halfway through

You can make the salad with any veggies you like. And omit any veggies you don't care for. Its good. Those M & M's look yummy. Thanks. (I am also a type 1 diabetic. So I have to count carbs too)

Just a head up about the feta... We love it but we only put it on our salads. Okay we don't have a big imagination here but the heads up is my daughter has always called it feet cheese. And there's a reason why, it does have a strong odor to it if you know what I mean. But once you get past that it does taste delicious. And you can marinated it in olive oil with some Italian seasoning and put olives the cheese and other things in and it's wonderful for an antipasta dish. Got to thinking you could add the salami with the olives and cheese and have a small easy to make antipasto dish.

Feta is crumbly, sort of soft, but not as hard as parmesan. It doesn't melt like cheddar or mozzarella, but it does get soft. It is used crumbled over hot dishes, green salads, marinated vegetable salads, pasta salads, antipasto plates, pasta dishes and baked whole for an appetizer. I've heard of people subbing it for queso fresco when they can't find it. You could crumble it over street tacos, enchiladas, a bit on your beans, etc. Speaking of Mexican food, I would be tempted to use that taco sauce as a marinade for chicken and make some fajitas or street tacos.

Hi Candance! Great haul! Bob Evans is local to us here in Ohio, its the best! Imho! Barely any grease or waste and great flavor! All the dates are best by dates, stuff doesnt instantly go bad on that day! Lol the texture may change . Now on chips or puffed corn can go rancid because of the oils they use, you can tell if its not goodby smell and taste on things like that. Id love to go your food bank! Already chopped veggies and fruits? Thank you so much! Lol i would love to get a beef roast! Ive been so hungry for it, was going to get one the other day but @$30, I passed! That was the cheapest i could find and it wasnt even very big! I like to put onions potaoes and celery around it with onion soup mix, but i also love having mashed potatoes and gravy with it toomom used to make it that way the first night and she used cream of mushroom soup mixed with the drippings for gravy for the potatoes, the next night she would add bbq sauce to the meat snd we'd have bbq sandwiches with it, could also make beef stew, vegetable beef soup(my favorite soup besides my chilli!) I wish i lived out West I love the mountains! Have traveled out your way when my husband was a OVR truck driver,I saw 33 states when i was able to ride with him for 6 months!(we usually made it home most weekends!) I loved the traveling part! The riding not doing much part wasnt too fun, but saw s lot I wouldnt normally got to see! The Grand Canyon, Salt Lake,Largest Rubberband ball in the world! The Grand Staircase of Escalante! We got to see most things after he made his appointments. He normally had to drive nights to make his morning appointments(picking up or delivering. Didnt make a lot of money working for a owner operator but did get to see a lot of our great country! I joined your Facebook channel and have been enjoying that group and this channel! Take care!

You can crumble and sprinkle the feta over Shakshuka. You probably will not use it all in one dish. Sautee the peppers and an onion in a skillet. Add a large can of tomatoes- diced is my preference. Add red pepper flakes for a little spice. Let simmer. Use the back of a tablespoon to create divets or craters in the sauce - 1 for each egg you choose to use (1-2 per person). Cover skillet until whites of eggs are done, but yolks are jammy like a fried egg. Turn off heat, top with crumbled feta and serve. It's delicious and hopefully something you can all eat.

Thanks for your video, Candy. You looked extra pretty today. It’s cool that you’ve got a fan so close to home. The feta cheese has kind of a tangy, salty and it can be sharp or mild depending on the type of feta. I’ve always put it on Greek salads. I think it’s delicious. You could make a spinach pie and put it in with that. Delicious also, you could just search feta cheese recipes and I’m sure you would come up with some good info. I have had the Zevia soda. it’s sweetened with Stevia instead of aspartame. I like it, but if you’re used to aspartame, it might be different. You always have lots of good ideas for using protein powder and protein drinks and different things. Good for you. Thanks for sharing!😍

As your resident Greek viewer, allow me to give you some options as to how you can use up your block of feta. First of all that is a blessing because the block of feta will always be a 100% better than the crumbled stuff that supermarket sell and pass off as the real thing is a disgrace. It is creamy in texture and has a salty flavor. It is not a cheese you grate. Prepare your salad as wish snd cut up a piece of feta and crumble it over your salad. We put it over Greek salad made up of tomatoes, cucumbers, olives and red onion. However over any sslad is just as delicious. We also just est it with some freshbreaf, olives and tomatoes as is, notin a salad. We also put it in spinach pie but that is too detailed and multiple steps required. Finally, you can put half the block in a fush durrounded by cherry tomatoes and topped with olive oil. Bake it until the tomatoes have burst oodn and tender. While that is baking boil your favorite short pasta like penne or fussili. Drain and mix itinthe feta tomato dish. I hope I have given you some simple ideas, I did not want to overwhelm you with. The more complicated ways of using it. Please keep us posted with what you make using the feta.
