I actually almost fell on a 2yr old. I would have probably unalived her. I made sure no one was below me before I let go from the top and she ran around a corner, impossible to see for me. And if you're saying I shouldn't jump in such a situation, I couldn't holt the top much longer, I was slipping of

Boulder problem set seemed a bit too old school for the comps. Not enough "face in the wall" slab or paddle dynos. Adam struggled with both in the comps

It always amazes me how quickly Adam climbs and clips. It must be traumatic experience for the belayer to try not to short-rope him especially on Grigri 😂 I hope they get a chance for some counselling afterwards 😂🤣😂

Move for move, probably... Most of these boulders would be repeated by a couple guys at your local gym if they were up for six weeks, at least that goes for my gym but we've got a pretty strong crowd, bunch of people climbing 7c+ and more

It was sad to see Adam slipping off on that lead route (IFSC - CLIMBING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS (B,L,S,B&L) - BERN (SUI) 2023). I really hoped to see him on the very top section where his endurance and experience could be seen. What is worse, is the boulder results. If we compare men and women results, it's clear that boulders were little too easy (yeah, not for me, of course). There was no chance for Adam to even show his skills which costed him valuable points. Anyway, Adam have seen enough of competitions and should withstand the misfortune and will continue to push the horizons of the possible further and further away. Or, just chill on the(a) top of the world, he earned it.

Comp results were unfortunately not saysfying. I think Adam saw and hold onto few beta breaks in some of the lastest challanges in competition which cost him valuable points. Any opinions?

Silly question, but wouldn't it be better to train with a shirt on? to simulate as close as possible the comp situation, including the slight added discomfort of the shirt?

Hi guys, quick question here. I am considering buying solution comps and I'm wondering about the lifespan of the shoes. Does the rubber wear out much faster than the one on the normal solutions? Bear in mind I only climb indoors.
@qazaqwert Жыл бұрын
Solution comps have 3.5mm of rubber while solutions have 4mm so the comps will wear out faster. It’s the same type of rubber for both of them.
@lecorny007 Жыл бұрын
Adam really need to implement more dynos into his lead routes. Recent comp routes has atleast 1 dyno.
@jackharbor3347 Жыл бұрын
Those are not really comp boulders of the same style that the current IFSC setters are doing. Train more indoors comp style Adam!

The comment is OBVIOUSLY from a prospective competitor. Why don't YOU give up? There are MANY rewarding bags of cheetos and dope you could successfully consume, to become world champion in THAT. World champion in obesity can also be your goal, along with world champion in grubbing through garbage cans, finding world champion leftover french fires.

I do, I like to see how he trains and struggles when working in the gym. It's always interesting (for me) seeing a world class athlete in your sport train. Often find his training or explanation videos more useful than watching his big ascents.
